Giraffes are awesome!! So pretty and sweet!

Have ya ever seen 2 giraffes fight? Not a pretty site. I agree they are awesome! Such an odd beautiful animal.

No I have not seen them fighting I hope I never do. I hate to see animals fighting and killing and eating each other. I know it is nature - but it breaks my heart...

I do love that you can stand so close to them at the zoo and they seem really mellow.

No more animal posts after this one, but.........giraffes fight by smacking each other with their long necks/heads. I never would have thought such a thing. There are you tubes of such fighting. I love their eyes!

So WC - how are you doing after this exciting weekend?!!

FC ~ I'm fine! I was exhausted yesterday, though. Gees, I wonder why?!!! Maybe I had too many drinks afterall ! HOW ARE YOU and EVERYONE ELSE?? It sure was a fun party!


Giraffe talk ... When Ruth was walking through the Animal Menagerie to get to the Big Top years ago when she played in the Circus Band, the giraffe leaned over his cage top and took her straw visor off of her head so he could have a snack!! It was hysterical!

Hmmmm, animals ..... Love to have a PIG, chicken, zebra, spider monkey, kanagroo, another male German Shepherd, and an armadillo!! Weird, I know ......

Yes, an armadillo! I find them cute for some completely strange reason!

I sure know what you mean about long weekends going by too fast, and now, I'm all screwed up on my days for this week! Shanna is coming home tomorrow, Sara on Thursday and I've got tons to do before they get here! You know the first thing with kids is " What's there to eat? " !!!!!

HA! Yesterday my 21 year old got up at noon. Had a bowl of Cheerios, two bagels with cream cheese and two roast beef sandwiches!! There is never enough food!!!

You know - when I was 26 I divorced my first husband. I moved in with my folks. I had a full time job that I had to leave really early for. I would call my mom every day at about 2:00 PM and ask "What's for dinner?" Too funny! Not surprised at all that is what your girls ask!

Armadillos are cute??? Maybe it is time for that eye exam
