| Those of us that need to, should all go on a diet together. My Dr. has pretty much said that I would have no problems if I would lose about 30 lbs. I am going to give it a try come the first of the year.
As far as fans getting close to band members, I don't know how I feel exactly. I have known people that have become close friends and there was no problem but I also know that at times there can be.

| I need to lose at least 50-75pounds, but I keep eating and eating. I had lost 35 pounds on NutriSystem and started looking and feeling better. But I wasn't satisfied with the 35 so I went off it and gained it all back 35 pounds would have been okay. I might go back on NutriSystem. But as soon as you stop it, the weight comes back. And it is expensive, like $3600.00. | |

| That is a drop-dead gorgeous picture of Adam!
I'm a firm believer that diets don't work. FY is completely correct. You have to eat less, eat healthy and move more. Going on a diet and limiting your choices or not learning how to cook the healthy food just sets yourself up to gaining any weight back that you lost on the diet. I don't mean you can't eat your favorite foods, you just have to learn to eat less of them and be satisfied with a smaller portion. Don't get me wrong, I could stand to lose a few pounds myself, but I eat like a bird already so I think my clue would be to try to make better choices for foods that I could eat more of that are healthier.

| I just joined Nutrisystem. Again. It cost $300 per month and this time Iam going to lose the weight faster. I am limited in my exercise because I had polio as a child and cannot do certain things at all. But I can walk when I lose weight. Right now I am sort of confined to my house because I cannot even walk My husband thinks it is because of the extra weight. In any event, losing weight cannot hurt and it will probably help. I will start on January 1st! | |

| I agree with Sky. The key is always to eat less, eat healthy, and move more. For the rest of your life. It can be incredibly difficult.

| I heard about the 17-day diet on TV this morning. I think I'm going to look into it! I can do anything for 17 days! Worth a try, anyway! http://www.the17daydiet.com/ | |

| The man who wrote "A Carnivore's Dilemma" (I think it was) summed up how to eat healthy. Eat real food. Mostly plants. Not too much.
That's it, as a lifelong plan, not a diet for some period of time. By real food, he means that foods like Twinkies, canned cheese, anything with a lot of chemicals added to it is not real food.
