Some of those comments are so homophobic is scary, what this people are going to do if one of their children is gay, are they going to stone him or her?

The poor child that might be gay, born into one of these families. How traumatic would that be for that child? You would hope people could let other people live their life as they want, it shouldn't affect anyone else. It just infuriates me to think about it.

FY - there have been people like this whose children have turned out to be gay and they completely turn their backs on them. I have read and watched interviews where they tell their folks and then the parents (mostly the dads) say "You are dead to me". And they mean it. Think about what goes on in some cultures where a daughter has been killed by her father because she had sex before marriage. Unthinkable to us - yet not to them.

Adam always looks like he is genuinely enjoying himself whenever he interacts with the fans. He gets right in there with them and has the best time.

It was 101 degrees in Denver yesterday. No wonder the boys are sweaty and yummy. Neil looks like maybe he is acting as bodyguard, looking all serious.

Neil looks thrilled to be there ....... only not. I don't blame him. I sure wouldn't want to be out there with some looney fans if I didn't have to be.

Adam obviously likes it though. Why, I wouldn't know. I can't imagine enjoying people fawning all over you like that. I find it creepy.

Yes, I did the bus thing with Clay, but I wouldn't do it again. I think back on it and wonder about my mindset. I'm glad I'm past all that.

Adam loves it and that is what counts. He worked for years for this. It's his dream. Neil could just be hot and tired and dying to get on the air conditioned bus.

I'll never understand why anyone would want to be a celebrity. I'm just not of that mindset.

As for Neil, I really wish he could blog so we would really know what he's thinking. I really get the impression he isn't impressed with the fame game. I think he maybe took the job to gain some understanding of why Adam loves it.

I think Neil took the job because he NEEDED a job, he didn't have one. I think they kind of created a job for Neil. I think Neil said it might be a good opportunity to meet some gals? or something like that! LOL

Poor Neil just got caught in a picture not smiling. Geesh the guy can't smile 24 hrs. a day, and now everyone is saying he's bored or not having fun? LOL It is a cute picture of them though.

I think the money is a very good incentive.

There are some people that will sell their souls to be famous.

For Adam, I don't think it's about the money or being famous. It's more about succeeding at what he was born to do. The money and fame follows and is nice, too. But it's not a job for him. It's what he lives to do. And he does seem to genuinely like people. I hope he never loses that enthusiasm or gets callous about it.

Spirit...........that is very true about Adam. He has wanted this all his life, and now it's come true. He knew the drawbacks, and it doesn't matter to him.

I never understood why Clay's team never sent him overseas on a tour, particularly to Asian countries where he is still big.

I always assumed it was a money issue. It is extremely expensive to tour overseas. I would think they would have to be reasonably sure of selling out a lot of large venues to make it worthwhile. They probably have to sell a lot of records in a country before investing in a trip there. Adam went over and tested the water as well as pumped up his popularity there. Maybe Clay and his team weren't sure his tour would be successful. That's one of the questions I would love for Clay to answer.
