ADAM'S 2010 CONCERT DATES

Front row? OMG..................you lucky lady!

I was lucky. But there was so much sensory overload, I may as well have been in the back row. I couldn't take it in. Had to watch YouTube to see what I saw. What I do remember is his stage presence. OMG. I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, including Elvis, but I have never witnessed such energy and magnetism before.

I can only imagine! I find his magnetism out of this world just through the TV screen!

I saw Clay from the front row once and no matter what I think of him now, he did have a presence. There is something that draws you in. I can't imagine what it would be like front row with Adam. I honestly don't think I'd be comfortable considering some of extremely OTT fans there are. I'll be happy a bit further back. Adam's 'presence' will be felt in the whole venue. No more front row for me.

Tickets for The Glam Nation Tour go on sale today at 10am today! It's a presale thing. Adam sent me an email !!

Omg, Spirit ~~ Front row?? How incredible! Good for you! If it was at the concert I am thinking of, you got some good hip action thrown at you! I can only imagine what that must have been like!


I Still think Clay has a commanding stage presence ... IMO .... I've never been up close, still enjoy the heck out of him ( even when we were sitting behind some true haters ).

The closest I was to Clay was 20th row. He does indeed have a great stage presence but so much of that is his banter and humor. He really knows how to engage with the audience at his shows. Well, not so much that last Xmas show of his

Clay does have a great stage presence. I remember screaming like a teenager when he walked out on stage. And when he rose up out of the floor during the AI2 concert and I saw him for the first time, it was like a bolt of lightning hit me. I can't really compare him one way or the other to Adam. Their styles are so different.

OMG that was awful. I used to love his Christmas tours but that one turned me right off.

Spirit, were you in Charlotte or Raleigh for the NAT concerts? That Charlotte concert, IMO, was one of the best I saw of Clay's.

It's great that they are selling pre-sale tickets for the announced shows but darn it all Adam, we need the other dates!!

I was at the Raleigh NAT. That tour was his best, IMO. The last few, it was like he had lost interest and was just filling time. I went to the PBS taping, and while I'm not fond of his new musical path, he was "back". It was elaborate, well rehearsed, and he gave it his all.

Sooo FC ~ You were at the last Waukegan show? You should have found me, Sara and Melissa -- we were there! I agree, the last one was kind of hard to sit through ... not for Clay, but for all of those stories ....... but, a little alcohol was involved here so it was more tolerable ( the stories ) !

canear ~ YES, ADAM, bring on the rest of the Tour dates!! We gotta make plans so FC knows when we all will be coming to her house!

Spirit ~ Omg, you went to the PBS taping? COOL !! From reading all of the recaps, that is why I want to go his tour, but, sit away from the OTT fans. The NAT was the last time I saw Clay sing non-Christmas. That was a fun concert! We went to Appleton and saw him outside. We also went to Milwaukee one month later and saw him again!

THAT was the concert that I said something that just came out of my mouth, Clay reacted, and only those who were with me know the story .....

So, who knows how I would react to seeing Adam! Omg, I sooo want to see him!

No WC - I was not at the Waukegan show. I just watched some of the vids from the show. I saw Clay's first two Xmas shows and I had no desire to go to anymore. So glad I didn't pay big bucks and see that boring show.

So, Cathy. What came out of your mouth? We won't tell.

I don't know about Clay's tour. Nobody knows what it is going to be. You would think he'd sing songs from his new album (although those songs are 50 years old), but Ruben said no. And that they were both going to be on stage together the whole time. So I'd want to watch a video of it before spending any money. I'm saving my money for you know who.

He did have a tough few years. I think he was really struggling with his sexuality and staying in the closet. I'm glad to hear that he seems to have regained love of performing.

I was at Raleigh as well! I have to say, though, that the Dorton was one of THE worst venues I've ever been in!

Dorton was beyond bad. I sat up high on the sides, and there was an annoying echo effect. I heard every note about three times.

Okay I am SO READY to break out my credit card and buy Glam Nation concert tickets!!! All I need is a concert......c'mon Adam's people. We're chomping at the bit here!!!

So I think I've almost just guaranteed myself two tickets at Costa Mesa just behind the pit. Not sure yet though. I'm waiting for confirmation. For the first time ever I used my vision impairment to request accessible seating. I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that. I hope I'm not making a mistake.........

Holy!!!!! Sky you weren't kidding about flights costing $500 to Toronto! I just picked a random date to search and that's how much it was for me too!

teddy ~ I hope you get your confirmation on your tickets! Good for you! Get them anyway you can, and hopefully they will be great seats and you will be able to see Adam without any problems!

Awww, thanks so much Cathy.

I haven't got anything back from them yet. I don't think I'll get my confirmation until tomorrow. I know they they're working on it though because they did send an email saying that they were processing it. I just have to wait until the official word when they actually give me my seat location.
