| $500 to go to Toronto is not bad. It cost me that and more just to go to Colorado last year. I think I paid like 585.00 or something like that. This year I got smart and bought them sooner,(going same month just needed to get the tickets bought before May!) so it was less thank you God. Teddy is $500.00 for round trip or just single trip? | It's for round trip.
But I haven't even begun to think about anything past airfaire yet. I don't even know about where I'd stay. I haven't thought that far ahead because Adam doesn't have a concert there yet.
Yes Sky dates in August for flights are astronomical!

| I've flown to Toronto for less than that before. I can't justify that much for airfare and tickets and possibly somewhere to stay if my friend isn't home.......and she's not a huge Adam fan. | |

| I don't think I could justify that either. The cost of a flight for that much money is a months worth of pay for me. I don't know about this now. I'll have to wait and see. | |

| WELL DAMN IT! Just got a response email back and they're saying that they NO LONGER have accessible seating available. THAT IS NOT TRUE. They totally do!!!! Cannot freaking believe this. I guess I have to wake up early and try the next pre-sale. Hopefully something decent comes up. If not I don't know what I'm gong to do because the public on sale is Saturday at 10am and that's exactly when I have to be at work. This sucks! | |

Re: ATTN: rmged: FAN CLUB PRESALE?????
Yes, kudos to Adamazing Eyes and others here for working all day to make sense of this - my rushed comments included (I've been juggling Adam, Aguilera, Daughtry, D Cook, and several other projects this week). All this concert stuff is confusing, period, and because we at the label have no say in the touring business all I can do is try to bitch and moan to get what I can at short notice. The press release from 19 announcing the tour and this first round of dates (including a Toledo date, yes) never got done - perhaps because they're slammed with Idol Give Back. But I do expect that press release tomorrow, numerous more dates to be added after that, and we will be coordinating several pre-sales with different passwords in each of the upcoming weeks. As you guys saw today, there's greater demand for tickets on the coasts than in the Midwest, so I've been relaying your feedback here to 19, and asking that they discuss it with TM and the booking agent CAA in the hopes of (a) setting aside more than 2,000 tickets for AO per show (not likely), and (b) not being shy about adding more dates or going to bigger venues if at all possible, if demand really is so off the hook. Stay tuned for updates and info about next week's AO pre-sale shows and password. and good luck getting tickets for this week's 3 shows through the other pre-sales and regular on-sales.

| So I tried for tickets this morning in the other pre-sale and got nothing. Everything is so far away in the last rows of the terrace. Just too far away for me. I won't be able to see anything much less Adam. And like I said before I won't even be home Saturday when they go on sale to the general public but whose to say whether better tickets will even show up then or not. I really hate ticket stress. I really do. So needless to say I'm feeling really blue about the whole thing right now. | |

| They sure do FC. Just last week I was looking into tickets to see Gaga at Staples Center (it's sold out - both nights) and people are charging $300-400 per ticket! And that doesn't even include the huge service fee they take on of their own. It's so not fair. | |

| I had just read somewhere that ticket brokers (aka thieves) have some computer program they use that scarfs up the tix. It's just horrible! | |

| Well Toronto and Costa Mesa are more than a month apart so I don't see any reason you couldn't go to both shows. We'll have to see when the tickets go on sale for Toronto what I can get. Wow, I really can't believe it! Canada usually gets ignored the first tour! | |

| Well since it is on a Saturday I'm already thinking leave Thursday and come back Sunday. That I can definitely do. I can get a round-trip there for $462 on cheaptickets.com right now. Going would require 1 stop but returning would be nonstop.
But the question about all this for me is where the heck am I going to stay? LOL

LOL Hmmmm...... I live about an hour outside of Toronto, but I would stay at a hotel in Toronto for Saturday night at least so I wouldn't have to drive back after the show. I could always head down after work on Friday night and stay that night as well. I don't go away all that often so a couple of nights away would be nice.

| I'm going to try posting and see if it screws up my puter. I changed my default to Firefox instead of IE, as my IE is messed up.
Anyway....Clay is coming to my city July 24th, but I'm passing on it in hopes that Adam will come nearer me than St. Pete, FL. I'm flying to NYC for a week the beginning of May, but naturally Adam won't be up there until the end of June. Just my luck. I've seen Clay many times and always up close except once--the Christmas show in Melbourne, and I will never do that again. Once you have been in 1st row or even 8th row, it spoils you. I haven't gone through scalpers or anything...just been lucky except that once. If I weren't going to NY, I would see Clay, but I am going to be broke and in debt when I come back. So if I spend money on anyone, it will be Adam.
ETA: Yay, it worked w/o shutting down my puter!! I have been reading but not posting because of this glitch! So happy to be back. And I must say that Adam was a fantastic mentor. I read today that he is in talks to replace Simon next season. I can't really see him doing this, but who knows? If the money is good enough, he may agree for one season.

It'll probably be best to stay close to the venue I think. Gotta figure out the cost for all this........
