Crazy About Mad Men!

From what I read now, the show should be back next year.

So no chance of them being on this summer? That just sucks...We already wait so freaking long between seasons. I already forgot what happened in last season's finale! I'll forget everything by next year!

Maybe they could do what SPARTACUS did and have a prequel to tide people over.

That's the one thing about the cable shows. The seasons are shorter and they don't do reruns until the new season is about to start so it always seems like you wait forever.

So did anyone watch the two hour season premiere the other night besides me?

I watched it. It was good! So much had changed for the characters and it didn't seem like they liked it much.

I know. I was a little bit disappointed with it all. I'm sure it will get better though.

Harry looked like he lost some weight, and Pete looked like he gained a bit. Sally's getting tall.

I find Sally so pretty. Like a young Peggy Lipton!

Pete is so odd looking. Nothing like the kid on Angel. He changed so much.

I miss Betty. She just adds some spice.

They all look different out of their "Mad Men" character.

I'm pretty sure Betty will be back very soon. January Jones was pregnant last year so I wonder if they will incorporate the pregnancy into the storyline.

I guess it depends on when they filmed. I actually think Betty has all the children she can handle (badly)

I read a rumor he might be joining the cast, but I didn't know it would be tonight!! I hope he has a great part! Hopefully this will not interfere with his role on DDD

I guess it all depends on the filming schedule for both shows and how much he needs to be available.

It'll be fun to see him in his "Mad Men" persona.

Well, I really enjoyed Ben on Mad Men! Looks like he is going to be a really interesting character!

I was shocked at January's appearance!! Lordy I know she was pregnant but she gained so much in her face I never would have recognized her! She looked so completely different! I know she looks amazing now though.

Really enjoyed the episode last night.

Ben's character was so cute! I think SCDP is in for a big shakeup and the younger generation will be taking over, much to Roger's consternation. I wonder if Michael and Peggy will end up together.

Most people think January Jones was wearing a fat suit even though she was pregnant at the time. I guess they wanted to make her look fat and not just "pregnant fat."

Oh I am so glad you said that because that is what it looked like to me! But I thought why would they do that - but you are right. Fat not pregnant! I was so bewildered because I used to see pix of her going to the gym while pregnant and she looked cute as can be and only pregnant in her belly not in her whole body It would explain why her face looked so different.

Well, I did not see the show since I have not been watching this season, but I read about what they did with Lane. Aw, so sad. I really like the actor too...

I taped a bunch of shows yesterday, including "Mad Men" but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet since I watched the Jubilee coverage first. But I did hear about Lane. I'm sad, because I liked him and the actor.

And they killed him off on Fringe too! He must be bummed.....

Just think, if Mr. Cooper hadn't opened the bank statements, they never would have known he forged Don's name.

Well, I'm not watching so I do not know anything about that. I just happened to read an interview with Jared Harris and knew they had his character commit suicide. Maybe I will try to catch-up on this season in reruns.

I don't think the cable shows do reruns the same way the broadcast networks do, and they really don't do them any more either.

I caught part of Sunday's episode last night on AMC about 10:00 or so. Sunday night is just not good for me. Maybe I will be able to catch the rest of the season on Monday nights. Not sure how many episodes are left.

I was just reading an interview with Jared Harris and he said in order to keep the secret about what happens to Lane, he actually turned down work because he didn't want anyone to know that he would be leaving the show. So he turned down everything - didn't do pilot week, etc. - that his manager and/or agent sent him.

Man, talk about commitment!

Really!!! I hope he gets work now since he is off of Fringe too!
