As sad as I am to see him go, he would have been a terrible fit as the "American Idol." It's obvious his first love is jazz and more than likely TPTB would never have allowed him to do that.

I agree Badger! Reading his WIki page good lord he plays a lot of instruments!! No wonder the judges keep talking about him being the best musician ever on the show! I hope and pray some label that really appreciates jazz artists gives him a break. He is so entertaining and would do so well in jazz clubs. Even my mom said she would love to go see him in a club if he ever came around here. Her faves have been Scotty, Paul and Casey so Scotty needs to stay to the end or she is going to be so disappointed.

Please help out this thread and bring any info here. I will hunt for You Tubes etc. too!

I always picture him as part of a jazz quartet - Casey on bass, then a pianist, a guitarist and a drummer with everyone playing a second instrument too.
