Man, end of an era.  My boys were 10 and 12 when I started watching this show!  I  still remember season 1 like yesterday. ....

Just got home and came straight to this thread to see what is up. First of Canear and Hathor I know you guys are feeling gutted for Dalton and I get it I really do especially since my fave of all the top 10 or 12 or whatever it was went out 6th. I was really upset but did watch so I could continue voting for Dalton and Mac. Yes they went out before winning but look how far they got and look what is happening in their lives now. I think this is the best possible outcome for them because they will take no crap for beating out trent or LaPorsha and they both seemed to have got a record deal so it is a win win deal. In saying this I know you guys are sad but why would you give up watching tonight of all nights? i know you guys love Philip and Hathor you adore Chris so why would you not watch for at least these guys. I would not give up watching this for anything. Kris, George, Taylor, Diana, Chris, Kelly, Kellie, Carrie and many others I love and adore and can't wait to see sing.

I hope the WGWG medley was great.

I am so beyond thrilled Trent did it. CONGRATS TRENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recorded it Angel.  I will watch it back when I feel better.  Just couldn't do it.

I did watch the end and saw Trent win.  He wanted it so badly and so deserving.  Congratulations to him!  He is obviously well loved by his fellow contestants and that speaks a lot to his character.  It was heartwarming to see Dalton so happy for his good friend.  

I was following a chat on FB and heard the Top 10 didn't get hardly any facetime.  That's a shame.  They probably should have made it a longer show.  C'est la vie.  

May they all go on to wonderful lives and successful careers.  That's all I've got........

LOL I just read that Taylor wore his famous Purple Jacket tonight when performing.  The Purple jacket is one he wore on Season 5

you guys how was the WGWG medley?  That is the one I so want to hear and see.

Simon wants to revamp the show and bring it back.  It better be on real TV because my mom will die if she cannot watch it!!

Big Machine Records has signed MacK, Trent and LaPorcha!  Trent and Lap were signed yesterday! 

So they both knew tonight that they had deals, it was just a matter of who got the title.  LaP seemed shocked.  I think she felt pretty sure she won.

Trent's reaction was amazing!!  I am so glad I recorded it and can watch it all again!!

Indeed this season's group got screwed!  I saw Mac for about two seconds and never did see Tristan or Jenn.  Didn't see Lee until he was hugging Trent.  Pretty much a bummer for them.   Usually the top 4 or 5 get to sing with some big star and the top 2 get a few numbers together and solos.  It so was not about season 15's kids tonight.  Oh well, what can you do.  It was an amazing two hours!

Angel - all the group numbers were fabulous!!  My mom called and said even Fanty was great tonight!!

Canear - they sang a duet early on and that was it!! No solos until Trent sang when he won!

People are trashing the WGWG moment. This makes me sad cause this is the group Kris was in and I don't want to think he and the others did badly. Now I want to cry but not in a good way

Well Dalton fans are miffed because he tweeted earlier today that he would be performing and he didn't.  It was known that he and Trent were rehearsing a duet so what the heck happened with that.  It was still the Finale of Season 15 and those kids aren't getting a tour, they should have been able to get one more moment to shine.  They f'd up there.  

Well it's pretty obvious they didn't want Dalton, cause they didn't sign him.  Not that I think he would have signed with them anythow.  Not a fit at all.  They never did figure out he's not a rock dude.  Hope they announce something for him in the next few days.

From what I understand FC , Mac was only signed for a single deal. Hopefully with how great Roses is doing Mac gets an album deal.

Congrats to Trent.

.Boy, was I surprised that Trent won. I was happy for him, though. The judges looked shocked, as I think they expected La'Porsha to win. Great show.

He probably picked up a ton of votes from Dalton fans last night which no doubt helped a lot.

They were great!!  Just the typical WGWG haters!!  There are people pissed because another white guy won.  Some people are just going to be jerks!!

You will love it and don't give a rat's ass about those haters!

I was wondering about Dalton singing that song he said he was going to sing. 

I don't know Hathor.  MacK doesn't make it sound that way, but maybe.   But yes, hopefully with Roses selling like this it will lead to an album.  He is selling better than all the others.

I've always liked Fantasia. She sounded really good tonight. Loved her group number iwth LaToya and Jen. Then all the soul singers. Joshua Ledett was so good. He looks diffrent to. Taylor good and got to play harmonca. The show was damn good but needed the extra hour to showcase this season's contestants too.

Well the way they messed with him this season if there were time restraints it doesn't surprise me that it would be his performance that they would cut ........

Who is trashing them? There were no bad moments tonight. All the groups are very good to fantastic. The Bowie tribute is really good. Don't believe everything you read,

So far so good. I do think it should have been 3 hours to properly highlight all of this year's kids and a few more alums even. For this year's crop though it's definitely a bummer. I sure do feel bad for them, No tour. No recognition tonight. I'm so sorry Dalton didn't get that solo or even the apparent duet with Trent.
