AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 14

Clark has become as polarizing as Jax.  Which could bode well for Nick    As I said, the "least offensive" 

I have accepted that Jax will leave at the beginning of the show on Tuesday.  They way they are handling this SUCKS!  All three will rehearse 3 songs and one will go right off the bat and not even get to sing!

Idol is just not as fun as it used to be.  I will watch as long as it is on, but when it goes I will be ready and it ain't gonna break my heart like it would have at one time.

Round 1

I don't think Rayvon felt very comfortable doing the Jason Durelo song. He did what he could and tried his best with it. It showed it is possible for him if only he allowed himself to be open to it more.

I felt like it was a bit of a mixed bag for Clark. The first half was much stronger than the second half. He really lost it in the second half IMO.

I loved, loved, loved Nick. That was AWESOME!

Jax certainly gave a very enthusiastic performance of "My Generation". Out of all of the upbeat performances she's had this season I feel this was her strongest.

Round 2

Nick, killed it. It was even stronger than the first performance. I loved that he picked "Back Home" from Andy Grammer. It's such a great song. I wish he could have sung the whole thing.

Clark was much more at home with this performance. He definitely picked it up a notch.

Rayvon started out fine but it crumbled and got rocky as it went along. Those breaks in his voice were not pretty. You'd think it being a song he's done many times it would have been better than it was.

Jax gave such a beautiful and simple performance of "My Immortal".

Round 3

Clark had a home run with this performance. He threw it all out there and gave it everything he had and than some. It was by his best of the night. Good way to leave an impression.

It was a very sleepy performance from Rayvon and yet his strongest of the night.

I didn't dig this one from Jax as much as the other two.

Nick played it safe with "I'll Be" but it was still a good strong solid performance nonetheless so I'll cut him a break.

Best of the night for me was Nick. Clark and Jax in the middle. Rayvon last.

My problem with Clark's last song was the last 20 seconds.  Just a screeching mess.  Prior to that it was a good performance.  Sometimes with these shows people think LOUDER is better.  Not really.  Sawyer is clearly going to win The Voice (total shocker if not) and he has never yelled or screeched a single note!

MJ liked Joey and Quentin and not Rayvon. I was using the site for retreating the saves.

I don't hate Clark but he just doesn't excite me. I agreed about the angst on Dock of The Bay. He needs a bit grit. After seeing his homecoming I get it. His been singing with a choir were grit is probably frowned upon.

I think Nick has come out is his shell of being in the background of a band and coming into his own just at the right time.

Yep, and that is why Jax is toast.  Clark has been expected to make the final 2 since week one.  Now you have the other good looking WGWG coming on strong at the finish line.  Jax ended on a bad note.  So there you go.

Well if Scott loves her so much he will sign her anyhow.

I hope he does.

I hope Scott signs Jax and Quentin.  He was always mesmerized by Quentin.

I am not giving up hope FC that Jax's makes the finale.

If Itunes are an indicator Jax is 3rd.



But many people vote and don't buy music.

Doesn't he want someone who sells music? She will need autotuning but I think he will sign her as she probably is hungry for fame. Does she write her own music? That's what sets Taylor Swift apart from some other young singers. Not the nest voice but a real knack for writing.

I love Taylor.

Since Jax is always rearranging songs I bet she writes.

Taylor Swift is auto tuned and she truly can't sign. He is beautiful and a fantastic song writer but her signing m all is weak. Sure once auto tunned with backing tracks she sounds great.

Kate I do not think any of these top 3 have that it factor. I wish the well and success.

I agree about the IT FACTOR.  Especially with the two guys.

Taylor sings live all the time in her concerts and is mostly just fine.  Sometimes not so much.  But yes, an awesome songwriter!  I love her music and have a lot of it on my devices.

I think Nick has been hiding in a shell and he s finally letting out the performer who was buried deep.

It will be interesting to know what the songs are for the final round of the top three.

This morning BING had Clark in danger.  Now it has Jax in danger.  I think Nick is the highest vote getter and I have a feeling he will win.  I think the finals will be a sausagefest     ...... Dang, losing Joey and Jax and even Tyanna.....

I hope so. But Bing has Jax in danger and they have been right all season. So I am pretty worried.

Bing seems to think Clark will win?

Thursday Bing had Clark in danger and Jax and Nick safe.  Then yesterday afternoon they changed it to Jax in danger and Clark safe.  They have predicted Clark to win all season long. 

What kind of track record do those other sites have??

IDK but Bing seems to now think it will be a Jax-Clark finale.

Oh - when did that change??   I will be happy as long as Jax is in the top 2/final.  If it is will Clark - so be it.

According to what I just read Idol will likely be renewed for season 15 but all signs point to it certainly being the last. Apparently the show will be even more scaled back than it already was this season.

More scaled back???  Yeah,  I guess it is time for it to go......

It's official ......... Season 15 is it.
