About to watch Joey on Kelly and Michael.

I'm on the Quentin side. I knew exactly what he meant by his words. I don't know what is up with Harry this year. Maybe the producers are trying to make him the bad cop judge and Keith the good cop.

Kate, I do not think that is it. The good cop bad cop arisen. Harry has been a complete ass to Quentin all season. I have read he wants to be a mentor and not a judge. IDK

Well FOX came out with this Idol promo and if Q survives this it will be amazing.

On line and in blogs and news stories Q had won the battle but Fox is making sure Harry wins the war.

Well, if he leaves this week that is based on voting before this came out so this cannot be blamed if he goes this week.

Like it or not, FOX/Idol is a business.  A business that bases success solely on ratings.  Sadly, Idol has had declining ratings each week and no contestant has brought it any buzz - UNTIL last week and this incident.  No surprise that they would use the ONE thing that has brought the show any media attention this season.  Just the way it goes in business.  The television and music business is cut-throat and people's personal feelings are NOT factored into their business decisions.  Not the first time and sure won't be the last time.....

But if Quentin is B2 this will adversely effect the twitter save.



I liken this to AT&T sending out boxes of Iphones and Teachers to Kris's watch party. They did not want a Gay Winner.

As you very well know FC Fox is a very left network. With Scott being so upset by the promo I do not think Idol was behind this but rather Fox wanting to keep the black kid in line. They must only utter yes'mam yes'sir. Sad.

This was done IMO to sway the voting public in case of the "save".

Hoping #teamQuentin is strong enough to thwart the promo.

doubtful but one can hope.

And I do not think race has anything to do with it.  Whichever contestant had been involved in anything that caused media buzz it would have been used.  Nobody forced "the black kid" to cause controversy.  It just so happened it was a black contestant who caused the controversy. 

And if FOX was so anti-black would they have EMPIRE on and push that show?  Or did they write the show to make black people look bad?? 

Not everything is about color.  If Jax or Nick had caused a controversy/media buzz they would use it.  Just that simply.

I am afraid sadly Quentin opened up this can of worms.  Think before you speak and use the right words is a good lesson to learn from all of this. 

If only he had looked sad and said he was sad for his friends instead of bitch face, sucks, wack.  Would have been a whole different story.   But it happened and what can you do....

But he could still win the tweeter save if his fans are pumped enough and if he has enough of them.   Rayvon's win streak has got to come to end at some point right??

BTW, can you provide a link for me so I can read about Scott being all pissed off?  I would like to see what he has to say.

Clark is just trying to make me dislike him    Boring songs and more boring songs.  Yesterday an Arena song??    Man, I can think of a lot of kick ass Beatles songs that would be better.

I only consider a couple of those songs to be arena anthems.  To me arena anthems are songs like We Will Rock You, Living on a Prayer .........anything loud, rock and upbeat.

Thanks FC, I believe I did. Now many of my friends call Rayvon Rayesha. Keeps being in the bottom like Seyesha but never goes home.

Canear I agree that most songs are not Anthem Songs.

When I went to Amazon to pre-order Original High, I found the Idol performances there.
I thought they were only on Itunes.

So I bought Q's and some of Joey's and Nicks and a couple of Jax.

Q sounds very good recorded.

Oh I am so gonna check out Joey and Jax songs!

I'm stunned Clark is doing a JB song. Never would have pictured him doing a song from him.

I have a love/hate relationship with Party in the USA. I think Tyanna will be good on it.

I do consider Go Your Own Way to be a bit of an arena anthem. It's not a big one like Living On A Prayer IMO but it is to a degree.

I wouldn't exactly qualify Shake it Out to be an arena anthem persay but the chorus definitely brings in the crowd in a huge way. I love that song.
