Sasha Baron Cohen playing the character “The Dictator” dropped an urn full of “Kim Jong-il’s ashes” on a clearly pissed off Ryan Seacrest. The ashes were reportedly actually Bisquick biscuit mix.

I hate Sasha and I had read he wasn't going to be allowed to come.

1. I saw it happen and I didn't think Ryan acted pissed.

2. If he was I don't blame him. How would you like to be all dressed up for the Oscars and some asshole does that to you?

3. I cannot stand Sasha. He is vile.

I love Octavia's dress. I love her. I am thrilled for her.

So happy to see Billy hosting again. Nobody beats him!

Wow. Meryl is unstoppable. I am super thrilled for her. She is one of the best after all. I was really rooting on Viola or Michelle though. I'm bummed for them both.

And The Artist wins Best Picture!! That was my pick. I know I've said it before, but gosh dang do I sure love that dog in the movie!!!! Uggi is so cute!

I was rooting for Michelle and Viola too. I was disappointed in all the top winners of the last three awards.

I was pretty pleased with all the big major awards. Even though I was disappoined with Best Actress I can't really be upset because I love Meryl. She is a favorite of mine.

Not everybody's favorite can get a nomination. I was disappointed that George didn't win for the Descendants, but my sister saw both movies. She said the Artist was a better movie than the Descendants. I didn't see either. I favor George and just wanted him to win for best actor and I wanted the Descendants to win over the Artist. Meryl must have been excellent, as usual, for her to have beaten the actress in the Help. All the actresses looked gorgeous, except Stacy Keibler. Jennifer Lopez' gown was just beautiful. As were all the other actresses, except Stacy. IMO.

Yes, I wanted Viola or Michelle, George or Gary (so deserving an actor) and either The Help or The Descendants or even Hugo which looks wonderful.

AIH - it's probably an age thing but Eric and Justin's friends did not care for The Artist because of no talking. My boys wouldn't even go see it because of that - and frankly neither would I. I can understand it is probably very well done and well acted - but soooo not my thing. So yeah, I was disappointed with all the big three winners.

Meryl? She has just won so dang many awards that it would be wonderful to see someone like Viola (who may never got a role like that again) or someone so refreshing as Michelle win. I won't lie - just sorta bored with Meryl and how she gets so many amazing roles and so many awards. Just yawn. When she started her speech with "I know half of America just .....". well I was one of them.

Thrilled about both supporting winners. And WTF with only two original songs up this year??

I thought Stacy looked beautiful!

I didn't really understand why there were only two songs up for the original song category either. That one was rather baffling.
