Rap and Hip/Hop have dominated pop and main music categories for YEARS now! It makes me nuts!
Just because a rap song is also a hit on the pop chart doesn't make it a pop song. Not in my book anyway. Yet every year pop categories are full of rappers.

You know some of the greatest artist's never win any awards. Look at Elvis. Didn't he only ever win one Grammy in his career? If they're in it for the awards, they're in the wrong business!

Oh, I do not think Adam is in for the awards. I just hate seeing someone that talented snubbed and someone like Ke$ha (who can't sing live worth a lick) get recognized.
Also, I hate seeing it sooooo rapper oriented. All the Best Male nominees are rappers. It's just wrong.

Yes it is but who is bringing the big bucks to the industry?.......... the rappers, they are the ones selling in some insane numbers, so they are courted front and center by the industry and this shows at this awards nominations.

Are you guys honestly shocked about Adam not getting VMA nominations? I am not just for the reason the VMA's are a freaking joke now. They have been terrible since the Late 90's. The only good thing about MTV is Jim who totally loves him some Kradison. Other than Jim I do not like MTV much anymore. Adam and his videos are better than the the VMA's
