I’m glad the love triangle didn’t take forever and the drama wasn’t prolonged the way we are accustomed to. Even so just because Simon broke the engagement off doesn’t mean he’ll jump right into things with Zoey. It’s possible but maybe he’ll take a little time for himself.

Oh I do not foresee smooth sailing with Simon either!!   Zoey will have turmoil in her life with songs that go along with it.

I just hope they do NOT kill off her father!!  I love Peter Gallagher!!!!!!!  I always have!!  Hot dad from The O.C.!!!!!!!!!  Zoey's scenes with her dad are some of the very best of the whole show!!

I agree! Robin does too. That’s another thing we have talked about! I hope they don’t get rid of him!

Was it on Sunday night?  Easter night?  It is not on my DVR

No it wasn’t. They showed the special with John Legend from last Easter.

It returns this coming Sunday.

Loved Max sing Bye Bye Bye!  Love that song!!   Don't agree with the decision made about his job...

So sad about watching them plan the funeral.  Too close to home for me....

There has to be some miracle   Mitch just cannot die!  If he does I hope we see him in Zoey's imagination or something next season.  Assuming there is another season.  Have not heard yet.

Glad there was a lot of Mo this last episode!  Fun seeing Mandy Moore on the show!

I have not watched the finale yet.... but I read the spoilers.

After I watch I will not discuss the show until I know that you watched it also.

I watched it. I really wasn’t fully expecting that ending but I was prepared. The episode was fantastic. Beautifully done. I cried. The end song was done perfectly. The lines each character got to sing were just right. The choreography of it was like everyone taking a bow. That’s the way Robin described it. I fully agree with that sentiment. It was divine.

So agree! Totally divine in every way!!!  What a talented cast!!  I loved every second of it - and yes, I cried....  It was too much like when I was there with my dad when he passed.  AND he passed 12 years ago today.  The day I watched the episode.  I was very emotional to say the least.

I hope and pray the show returns.  I read that the producers have talked to Peter about the possibility (if there is a second season) of him returning now and then for flashbacks and dream sequences. I so hope so.  I will miss both Mitch and Peter.  He was wonderful in the role.

Lauren Graham only signed on for one season and has another show for next season she is involved in so not sure what will happen there.  Fans really want her to stay with the show.  

The second I find out if the show was renewed I will post it.

Problem is - no shows can start filming or have any clue when they can start filming.....  What a mess.

RENEWED FOR A SECOND SEASON!!!

I’ve been meaning to post that news in here. I found out about it last week. I’m so thrilled it’s been renewed!!! It’s such a wonderful show!!

IT FINALLY RETURNS JANUARY 5TH!!!!!!!!!

CAN.NOT.WAIT.

I can’t wait for season 2!!!! I’m so excited.

So many of my shows are not returning until January...  It's been a long wait!!

Can't wait to see if and how they work Zoey's dad into the show.  I so hope we see him!  I loved him and their scenes together!

I really hope Zoey and Max get together - though I am sure they will mess them up at some point because that's how it works in TV

The premiere episode was fab! I’m going to be miss Lauren Graham though. I know it wasn’t clear if she was going to be part of this season but apparently she was and then scheduling conflicts occurred so they had to pull the plug. I’m just glad she was in the first episode. I have a bad feeling if Zoey and Max “fool around”: He’s not a distraction Zoey!!

I am going to miss Lauren too...  you know how much I love her.  Gilmore Girls....  all time fave show!  Parenthood - one of my other all time fave shows.  That actress is near and dear to my heart.  I even have the novel she wrote!

I hope maybe things can be worked out for her to return at some point.

I so enjoyed all the songs in this episode and the dance numbers!  Such a talented cast.

Yes - do NOT hurt Max!!  But I know that's coming..... 

So so good last night!!  Such good music!!  This cast is crazy talented!! So happy to see Zoey and Max together but I fear Simon is going to mess that up....

I’m on the fence about Zoey and Max getting together simply because of the timing still being so soon after her father’s death. However the way they came together at the end was so sweet and funny. I was in stitches. It was perfectly them. I loved that she sang with him. It was lovely.

I don’t think you can put blame on Simon alone for whatever is bound to happen and is on the way. At least not yet. We will have to wait and see.

I love that we will see more girls in the office too! That was awesome!!

Not putting the blame all on Simon.  Just meant he is going to cause trouble because he is so damn attractive and charming and Zoey is going to get all confused again!!

Gotcha. I just know you’re Team Max! I haven’t decided on one more than the other just yet. I do feel like it will be Zoey and Max at the end though.

Hey it’s a good thing to be confused about! I don’t think you could go wrong with either one! Both are super great guys! I would just like to see her have the friendship with one and the romance with the other and have it all be okay. That’s of course a very tricky and difficult thing, and it normally never works out. However that is my hope.
