Yes, it was very good.  Ends with a cliffhanger so I figured something was up.  Hope it is successful with the new cast.  It wasn't last time, even though I watched it to the end.

It ended with Mulder on deaths door and a space ship hovering above Skully. 

With the world all sick with one contagion or another.

Yikes cliff hangers galore. No answers

Yep.  That was how it ended!

Not happy. They better pick up where they left off.

Also finding the son.

I hoped the alien craft had the son on board, cured Mulder and whisked Mulder and Scully away. Leaving the new duo to pick up where Mulder and Scully left off.

That would be a great ending!  Except I think they want to leave things open to have them come back.  So maybe the new team will be looking for them in the meantime.

Yes but a space ship taking them away would be so cool. They could come back and then vanish again.
