I will read tonight. While they think they put him up for adoption,  my guess is the adoption was faked and he is in some kind of test place. If Scully has alien DNA those behind the alien abductions etc probably wanted William.

I was reading that X Files has lots more viewers than was expected. So ratings are awesome.

Tonight's episode of Xfiles sucked. Man was it lame.
Waste of an hour.

Hopefully not to many other episodes are as ridiculous.

Yes, as much as I love the stand alone monster episodes, this one was really lame!  I actually fell asleep and missed the last 10 mins of it.

I did see the promo for next week and it looks really good!

Glad we agree on this FC. I was half expecting you to say you liked it and then I was going to reassess my samity.

Kate, I usually LOVE the stand alone monster ones so much but this one was just lame as heck for me.  Not scary and just kinda silly.  But like I said, next week's episode looks awesome!!

I loved last night's episode!!!!!!!  That is MY kind of X-Files!!!

And I stayed awake all evening and got to watch the second airing of The Fosters!!  I have missed that show while this X-Files run is going.

Yeah we like different episode types. I did not like that episilode at all. Goolish trash can man pulling limbs off the selfish?  Just to much in the horror genre for me.

The only parts I liked we the pieces of Scully's mom passing. The quarter necklace what does it mean, the lost brother, mom's last words to Molder.  The brief discussion about giving William away. I like to solve mysteries not watch gore for gores sake.  

If I liked gore I would watch American Horror Stories, Friday the 13 etc.

I don't like a lot of gore, but that was OK for me.  Like Fringe or Criminal Minds.  Not too much of it.  The monster had a purpose.  A moral story told.  Plus all the Mulder, Scully and William stuff made it a great mix for me!

I prefer the storyline that is plausible. Based upon urban myths and legions.   Last night's episode was implausible IMO.

If an episode doesn't make me think and put pieces together 8th bores me.

Besides if all those who shun the homeless for what they call progress, most people would be ripped limb from limb vs rich.

In all my many years of watching X-Files very few episodes were plausible!!   

And very little of Pretty Little Liars is plausible too!  The big dollhouse on the island and all the stuff "Charlotte" did??  The whole episode of the night we found out who "A" was wasn't plausible to me because that show is supposed to be "real life".  X-Files is about the paranormal. Most of it is not supposed to be plausible.  That is why it is listed as a "science fiction" show.

I love paranormal. I do not like horror.

Last night's was horror imo not paranomal. 

Glad you liked that episode. I want an episode of paranormal, aliens, smoking man, lost sister etc.

I am sure the last two episodes will deliver a lot!

I hope they decide to be on going. Ratings are thru the roof.

That would be great but Gillian does have another show.

On IMDB people are saying the last show will be a cliff hanger. Hopefully if ratings are good they will do more short seasons which seems to be more popular these days.

I loved last weeks goofy episode and liked this weeks too. I like monsters and scary plus the conspiracy theory story lines too. Never did see the movie.

I am going to have to miss it tonight so I can watch The Grammys.  I will have to watch it online somewhere later in the week.

FC why don't you get DVR?

Hubby doesn't want to add to our already high cable bill. Between Amazon and Netflix and Hulu and the network sites I can see everything.

Good Xfiles and they introduced a new Skully and Mulder 

The new Mulder is a hottie.

Not overly fond of the new Skully. Very robotic

The last two episodes of Xfiles have been fabulous. Aliens, DNA, conspiracy,  global contagion,  smoking man, Chem trails, the elite trying to wipe out most of the world's population.

Rumors are that Fox is going to continue Xfiles.
That is what I figured with the introduction of the new young Skully and Mulder.
