Well I went to the car dealer this morning to talk to them about perhaps trading the car I have for something that would cost me a bit less each month.  They are having a preferred customer sale this week (guess I'm one!   ) so they have a good deal on financing.  Bottom line I can get the same vehicle I drive now in a 2014 model and few less gadgets on it that I don't need with a better financing rate and 4 year warranty for  $60 less per month.  So I'm going to do it.  To me it's a no brainer to get a new vehicle with warranty for less money.  Every bit helps!  So I need to go back later this afternoon to do the paperwork and find out if they can just get one from another dealer or if they have to order one in for me.  I'm excited!  I love new cars!

Aw, my beautiful Elf family!!  I paid $200 for each adult and $125 for the child and that was pre-clothes and wigs!

Canear - that is so cool!! Post pix!!  What color are you getting???   I am pretty big on gadgets so that would be a tough for me to give up!!  Love my in dashboard GPS!  Don't think I could ever give that up!!

BTW, for fun you ladies NEED to check out all the Asian Ball Joint Dolls on this page just to see how freaking amazing these dolls are!!  They get WAY more elaborate than any I had!  My most expensive was just under $500, but there are dolls that cost thousands!

Once I have it finalized I'll find a picture to post.  I've never had a GPS so I won't miss having one.  It's just cutting back on things like satellite radio and some other techy things that I don't use.

Yes Canear, a friend got me into them and I went crazy for them!  Spent way too much and had to give up the hobby and sell them all.  All but my Eric and Justin. Those I will always keep.  The dolls, wigs, clothes and accessories for them two of them together was about $400!  The large custom ones are beyond awesome!!

Oh, I miss my Sirius radio.......  But I can live without it.  We got it free the first 3 months we had the car and loved it.  But Rob wouldn't pay to keep it. 

Can't wait to see it!!

Oh FC I love the Eric doll. So cute. Thank god I never got into dolls seriously. We had some Lucy. Barbie Coke Cola, Elvis dolls but sold those before moving. Never paid more then $50 for some of the bigger Elvis dolls.

Hathor that is very cute you took the Coconut Baby with you and got photos.

Canear sounds like a great idea on the car. Every dollar saved is a good thing.

Canear, gorgeous vehicle!!!  I want something like that when we retire and take lots of day trips etc.  Love my sporty car, but kinda small if spending many hours on the road.

Well, debating going to the doctor this morning.  Felt crappy last night and pretty much sleep from 8:00 on.  Taped The Voice to watch later.  Not sure if it is a bad cold, or a sinus infection or strep or what. 

ALL the kids come today so wish me luck!

Just checking in quickly....back at work today but the power went off during the night so my alarm didn't go off.      It was a bit rushed this morning but I made it!

Feeling a little better but coughing a lot and blowing my nose pretty often.  Hoping it is just a bad cold. 

I was cheered up a little - Ty's mom thought my birthday was today and Ty brought my gift.  A NEW COACH BAG!!  A good one for the summer.

I love the pink!  Very springy.      I tend to like those bags better without all the little C's on them.  
 
Ugh, I'm so tired today.  That darn alarm not going off just set the day off on the wrong foot.      One good thing though, the car dealership called and they can get the car I want from another dealer so it won't be too long getting it!  Guess I best get this one cleaned up from winter before I have to turn it in.

Cool!  Are you buying or leasing?   What color/type of interior are you getting?  The car I have now is my first with all leather interior and I fear I am now spoiled......   I will probably always want it now.  I got lucky with the timing getting this car as all was going so well financially that Rob let me get it with ALL the bells and whistles.  Not sure I will be in that position next time...    But we have 2 and 1/2 years left on the lease so who knows.  Maybe the economy will be in a better place. 

I was looking at the Jeep site and I really liked a lot of them!   I sure do love them in red!!

FC, the colour is either Granite or Black.  I prefer the darker colours.  The interior will be dark gray with cloth seats.  I don't like leather or vinyl.  I'll have more details tonight after I go into the dealership to sign the papers.  
 
I hope I get more sleep tonight as well.  Memo to self to reset the alarm clock!

Yes, my daycare parents are good to me and yes they have $$$$. 

I am feeling pretty much OK for now. Yes coughing and nose blowing.  But no fever and no pain. It is hard to get there today with all these kids and Eric not here.  Gonna hang in there another day and see how I feel tomorrow.

I like the dark gray interiors.  I do like black cars, I think I just like some colors more. But a new car is always so exciting!!

Not feeling so great today but I'm going to have to fight through it. There's no putting off all the laundry I have to do. My basket is full to the brim again and I have dirty clothes that can't even fit into it because it's so full. Blah.

FC, what a wonderful surprise on the new COACH!!! Love the pink! Great bag! You do have some great parents there! Take yourself of yourself and feel better. If things don't improve I'd definitely go to the doctor.

After a very sunny day the rain is back but I am hearing the sun is supposed to make a return tomorrow.

FC I hope your feeling better tomorrow. I think all this changing weather is a breeding ground for cold and allergies. The constant changes in temperatures plays havoc.

I don't have much in the way of meat so going to make a stock with some beef bones I have in the freezer. I feel like some hearty soup.

True Kate.    But I really think I picked this bug up in the ER.  Lord knows what all I was exposed to in the waiting room there before they took us back to a room.

Sorry you are still sick FC. I hate going to the ER or doctors office. Always sick people coughing and hacking and I catch everything so easily.

Now the sun makes it's usual appearance just as it gets near the mountain lol.
