It is a wonderful place!  Awesome food!!  Cru's folks gave me a $100 gift card as part of my Xmas present so the boys and I can have a great meal tomorrow!

Good morning and Happy April!!!!!  I know we have some April birthdays so I will have to check the Birthday thread!

We will have an awesome lunch Teddy!  We are looking forward to it!  We are leaving at 2:00 and at that time the winds are to die down,  it will be completely sunny and 50!  So a nice day for sure! 

Before we go out I am going to watch what I taped last night (the first hour of The Voice and The Blacklist) and pay some of my mom's bills.

Sunny today. Hope it heats up so the roofers can take off their shirts.

Going to go do some banking soon and pick up some things I forgot on Saturday.

Just made some toast for hubby. Waiting for the wash cycle to stop so I can put it in the dryer before we go out.

Gee Kate, have those darn roofers not taken their shirts off for you yet?  Darn them all!   

We are back!

Well, we had a really nice time!  Good talk about lots of stuff too.

We started with soup - Eric and I had Wisconsin Cheese and Beer soup (super good!)  Justin had the chicken rice and curry soup. He loved it.  Then we had two appetizers - Kobe beef wontons and the potato/corn croquettes.  Both were awesome!  Eric had a California panini - which he loved.  I had the filo chicken - which I loved.  Justin had the crab cakes which he hated   He wanted to try something different and it just didn't work out     I felt so bad and wanted him to get something else.  But he said he was full from soup and appetizers.  So we just brought it home for Rob and he liked it.

Then we stopped and got my car washed and filled with gas since I have to take mom to the hospital Thursday for an echo-gram and out shopping.  Justin has left to go out with friends and Eric is vacuuming out my car for $10.  Kid has to earn spending money   

The weather did get lovely - sunny and 44 and winds have died down.  Enjoyed it all.

Glad you enjoyed your lunch, FC. I had a busy day. Four stops before the cardiologist appointment. She had an emergency so was stuck there for nearly three hours. She told me that she is leaving the practice. This makes five doctors who have retired from practice. So I have to find another doctor. Got a certified letter from the doctor who is supposed to do a colonoscopy on me which scared the helll out of me. Just a reminder to get it done. It was supposed to be done last April. But the bad winter and my weight stopped me. I guess I will go soon. FC- Please come to my house, as it needs amajor cleaning   There are so many things to do that I am stumped as to what to do first.

They are even here today. It's just the guys doing the inside of the townhouse. The roof is along way to be finished so I will get lot's of chances as they have to use tar paper and a torch so they will get very hot lol

AIH, I am a great cleaner but I am expensive!!     I'll send Eric.  He works for cheap!!     

Bummer about your doctor.  I wonder so many are retiring?  Are they retirement age or just want out?

FC- My doctor has 100 patients per week. She is an atrial fibbrillation specialist. She gets home at 9:00 PM every night and she says she doesn't want to do it any more. She will be working with/for my old cardiologist who retired last year. This makes five doctors who have retired. FC- I am desperate for help in my house. Eric or you   

I'll send Eric!  Just hide Stanley's steaks!!! 

FC- Eric can have ALL Stanley's steaks. He doesn't like steak any more. Now it is chicken. These steaks are very good. They are from Omaha Steak and I bought them just for Stanley.

Eric will be happy to take them off your hands!! 

I am a chicken person myself!! LOVE chicken!!  There is so much you can do with it!

Oh that sounds lovely FC. Too bad Justin didn't like the Crab Cakes but now he knows not to order them again.

Was just sitting on the balcony as it is finally warm enough this afternoon. The rain is supposed to be back overnight.

I love both chicken and steak plus shellfish. I'm easy.

Yeah, it is a shame.  But Justin does like to try different things.  Good for him as I am more leery and stick with what I know I like.

Crabcakes are awesome but they aren't for everyone! Even with those on the menu I still would have had the Prime Rib!

FC, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time out at lunch with Eric and Justin! Bummer about the crab cakes. What's Wisconsin Cheese and Beer soup???? I only quickly glanced over the menu so I didn't get a read on everything they had.

47 and cloudy today.  Rain coming in late in the day and it will rain until Saturday they say. Lovely     Glad I paid $6 for the car wash yesterday

Yes, I am still bummed Justin didn't care for his meal.  But thrilled I got to go out with my guys on a lovely sunny afternoon!

Not sure how my day is going to go.  I am hoping to stay home and do some things around the house.  BUT, my mom says she hasn't been feeling right.  She called last night and told me to be sure and keep my phone by me during the night in case she wants to go to the hospital.  Anytime she doesn't feel right she wants to go to the ER.  Makes me crazy.  She has just seen all her doctors in the last two weeks with fine reports.  She gets her echo-gram tomorrow.  Why she freaks out over any little thing that seems different I do not know.  So I am half expecting to be taking her either to a doctor or the hospital today.  Cross your fingers she feels better and we can avoid the ER

FC I hope your mom is ok. It sucks getting old.
It looks sunny here so far but the rain is supposed to come back. I guess it will April Showers bring May flowers.

No plans yet. Everyone is home today but DD is going out later with her boy friend.

She bought her dad a dvd for his birthday. It's the story of Tommy with Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry. We are all big Who and Tommy fans. She bought her self a Led Zeppelin hoodie too. Glad se likes classic rock as well as new music.
