Snow is melting now.

We had snow and ice overnight and I almost fell twice as it was so slippery.

Warming up though. It is supposed to be in the low 40's today.

Hello there, Lady friends!
I can't believe I haven't visited since January.. OMG, time is flying.

We have been back and forth to Florida 3 times since the new year, and we are going back again Tuesday, April 2nd.
The renovations we are working on, are going so nicely. Just can't wait to finish the place. We are constatnly working; no time for fun or beach when we are there. Well, one day it will be great.

FC, thanks for the E-mail! That was very sweet of you to be thinking of me.

I do hope everyone here is doing well... I have a lot of reading to catch up on!!

Tax season was a killer... just mailed out all of our stuff to the CPA, and had to go through a mountain of stuff to prepare Mommy's envelope for her CPA. Who knows if I did it right... let them fine me, I can't stress over it anymore.

Hey Felipe good to hear from you. Your Florida place sounds lovely and will be wonderful after all the renos are finished.

We have had gorgeous sun, clouds, hail, sun and now more hail. A great first day of Spring. Thank god we got home from errands before the last hail storm struck.

I believe Flipe and her hubby are fixing up her parents home to sell since they passed away last year.  I don't think they plan to leave their NC home.

Just got a request to possibly work at the University of Miami.

Rob and I have changed our minds WE THINK anyway.  We have been checking out cities (on-line) in Southern Colorado for retirement.  Turns out the weather is really even better!  Everyone knows I fell madly in love with Colorado Springs when we spent a few weeks there several years ago!  It's more expensive than New Mexico though.

Miami? How seriously awesome that would be! Are you at least going to go down to see about it?

Well, we won't retire and move for at least 3 years.  So we have time to figure it all out.  Southern Colorado does not get as cold and snowy as say Denver.  It's so beautiful there!

Good morning!!  Happy second day of spring!

It is going to be SIXTY here today!!!!  WooHoo!!!!!!

I only have Ty and Bryce this morning and they are both leaving at noon!  Then Maley coming at 1:00.  Easy day!  If I can get Maley to nap during a movie I may run out to do an errand.

I am going out all day tomorrow, but sadly the temps are to drop way down to a high of 40.  But no wind or precip so I guess I can deal.

Oh, I got to sleep in later because no kids are being dropped off until 8:30 instead of 7:15 the usual time they come!! YAY FOR ME!! 

And the BIGGEST unexpected YAY for me-------- ALL my daycare families are going out of town for Spring Break!!  So I am off the whole week!!  So I will be off from Saturday March 30 until the 6th of April!!  I will start back working April 7th!  Pray that we have awesome weather that week and I can go out lots!

 

Wow Spring break is late there! Ours was last week.

It's not sixty here today. We've got snow coming later today ...........

I think it could be because Easter is so late this year - April 20th.

Bummer about the snow Canear.....Maybe you will have good weather for the weekend!

Some school districts had it last week. Some here have one but the biggest one in Victoria has two weeks off.

The file and his g/f are going to Mexico as a friend of his is getting married. Maybe that will give him a hint?
