Clean the laundry room really good.  Washed the walls down, moved everything, new throw rugs put down.  Hopefully we can be done with messy weather and salt etc. to help keep it nice

My allergies are in overdrive and I may be getting the dreaded cold that has been going around   

Today after training at the gym I went to Albertson's to get some bananas and while I was walking around I spotted this very tall guy who looked familiar to me so I just went up to him and said has anybody told you you look like Tariqh Akoni from Josh Groban's band and he smiled and said that is me. He seemed surprised I recognized him but with me I pay attention to the band members also when I watch performers. Tariqh stands out cause he is briiliant on the guitars. He is also music director so he is out in front. The man is sooooooooooooo nice. i was surprised to see him in my small city but he was here for a wedding with his girlfriend who is from Santa Maria,(Tarigh is from Santa Barbara and that is about a hour away from Santa Maria). I was cool I did not get all fangirly and ask for a picture or autograph I was just happy to get to meet such a talented guy.Here he is in action. He is sitting on the stool playing the Spanish guitar I believe.

Thanks ladies!  Mom has really not been herself since November.  MIL is just having so many issues, but I guess at 92 that is to be expected.

I noticed that WC stopped in to read last Friday.  I so wish she would post......

Just hanging around tonight trying to get better. A very stubborn runny nose and cough.   

Back from Dan Aykroyd and dinner at the Chequered Flag.  A very LONG line. Had to buy the Vodka before getting in line so hubby lined up while I went in to o the purchase. It was fun though with some people dress as Ghostbusters and two guys that really did the Blues Brothers well. Plus a lot of cool motorcycles. Dan was very cool and those are my DD's Ghost Buster's DVD's which Dan also signed. I will take photo's of the Crystal Head Rolling Stones Edition and post them.

Wow FC, you got lots done today. I got the main floor vacuumed, did the groceries, got the laundry ready for tomorrow and made lasagna for dinner. Next time you come Teddy, I'll make you some! It was a nice sunny day but the polar vortex is back. It is freezing again!!

The weather has gone to downpour. The charity motorcycle run was able to go ahead as the rain didn't start until about 2pm. Dan was staying until everyone had their Vodka signed as it was going over by quite a bit. DD is still on a high from shaking his had lol and get her Ghostbuster's dvd's and book signed.

Yes that is me not looking at the camera lol. It was surreal sitting next to Dan, SCTV, SNL, Ghostbusters etc. DD was like going nuts after as she loves his Ghostbusters character.

One of the guys from the radio station was taking the photo's. That is my DD's new phone. She has only taken two photo's on it so far. Now she has a six after today.

FC that is me. I was so nervous after Dan spoke to me lol. He just basically said sorry for the long wait but it was the VOICE from Ghostbusters, SNL, Everything's Coming Up Rosie (CBC show before SNL).

Oh Kate that is such a nice picture!  I'm sure we all get starstruck when near a celebrity.  

It's so nice to put a face with the name!

I made the rub last night and marinated it, browned it real brown this morning and had it in the slow cooker at 7:45!  Gonna serve it on heated corn tortillas with diced cilantro, diced onions and limes just like Justin's fave Mexican restaurant!  Looking forward to it!

I can't stop looking at our super clean and organized laundry room!!  We have a really large laundry room - about 10x12 - and it has been hard to keep looking nice with this winter and all the traffic coming in from the garage and MIL's messy walker rolling through after going through slush etc.  So I am just loving it right now! 

Just a regular Sunday here.  Doing some housework and cooking.  Gonna read the Trib while I watch Property Brothers!  LOVE those guys!

Today is Zoe's birthday. Can't wait to give her our presents.

Making corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots.

Got a lot done of Teddy's painting and Terry thinks it is one of my best. I really got into the zone.
I painted non-stop for almost 6 hours.

Monument Men was really good. We enjoyed it. The book was better but I find that is usually the case.

The traditional St. Pat's dinner!  My family will not eat corned beef (not even me )  I like cooked cabbage though!!

Polish cabbage and noodles!!  WE LOVE THIS STUFF!!  We add sour cream to make it creamy!

Corned Beef is Kirah's favorite meat.    Terry loves it and I like the meat and cabbage.

FC that Polish noodles sounds delic but I couldn't eat it being on Atkins.

Oh probably a hot dog and fries for me at the rink this evening.  I want to go over early to get a good parking spot because there will probably be a big crowd there.  I'm not into the traditional food but I will wear green tomorrow.     ....and will be wearing it tonight since the Kings jersey I have is green.
