Well if not Leo I can live with Clooney winning over Pitt. What does Hollywood have against Leo.....

Just got home and turned it on.................George is so handsome and charming. I sure wish Leo would win as well but it is nice to see them accepting George beyond his good looks.

They accepted George a long time ago. He even won an Oscar several years ago.

Well, it was an enjoyable three hours. Rickey was better this year. I actually really liked him.

So sad for my Leo. He never wins anything.

LOOOOOOG list of awards won (or nominated) for Clooney. A bunch of wins. He has already won 8 awards for The Descendants. Winning this GG makes him the frontrunner for the Oscar.

Question FC did you happen to see a pepsi commercial at all during the show tonight? I'm asking because Mark Ballas choreographed it. He said it was to debut during the GG's, but I never saw it.

I didn't notice any Teddy, but I wasn't paying much attention to the commercials. I did notice several for "Smash" though.

The wiki page shows he did win the Golden Globe for The Aviator in 2004. I honestly don't remember that though. It's good to know he's won one at least, but I still don't understand why he's always overlooked. He's one of the finest actors in the world and has had several outstanding performances yet he has no Oscar to his name. Just what the heck?

That commercial was on about 6 times during the telecast. Mark's dad Corky in it as one of the guys the lady who is trying to get to the guy carrying the diet pepsi. At the very end you see Corky raising his fingers up to his ear like he is holding a phone and he whispers "Call Me". It is a cute commercial.

Several??? It seemed it was on during every break! They're sure pushing this show.

I thought Angelina and Madonna's arms look like skeleton arms. Not flattering and both underweight.

Yes they're pushing mega time for Smash. I just read an article in TV Guide I believe it was (could have been EW) about it. They're hoping Smash along side the return of The Voice, that it will give the network a better midseason. They know it will be tough though.

Madonna's looked muscular but two skinny if that makes sense and for sure Sky Angelina's looked like a skeleton.

I saw all the things for Smash and I tell ya this show better be a hit cause if it isn't this group of people in the show are going to take a hit. The network is putting all on this show and if it doesn't deliver it will just be really hard. I hope Kat can carry all this cause she has been talked about a lot for his show.

I don't plan on watching Smash.

I'm interested in Smash. It really looks like something I'd really enjoy. However, it's up against a favorite of mine in Castle. So needless to say if I watch Smash at all it's going to have to be online.

I know the family wants to see Smash but as you said Teddy it goes up against Castle and we love Castle here so I do wonder what we will do.

Yep Angel it's a tough one for sure. It also goes up against Hawaii Five O. Doesn't your family watch that too sometimes?

Yep they do watch Hawaii Five O also but not as much as Castle.

Oh that commercial?! I've seen that way before the Golden Globes so I didn't think that was the one you meant. I thought Mark's commercial was premiering during the Golden Globes! That commercial has Sofia Vergara from Modern Family and it is a hoot! I love her and the whole thing is so well done! Good for Mark!

I don't watch anything else at that time on Mondays and I am soooooo excited for Smash!! I wasn't a fan of Kat's during Idol but I have seen a lot of footage of this show and it looks awesome and she looks to be doing an amazing job in it! Acting seems to come very natural and easy for her and her singing in the clips I have seen has been flawless!
