My folks gave me a gorgeous pearl and diamond pendant and we all went to Eric's fave restaurant - called Harpos! It was a very nice place with wonderful food. He loved their chicken! I wasn't upset turning 40 because my life seemed perfect! | |

| Thank you all very much for the sweet messages. I admit I was down about turning 40 and then today it hit me a little harder and I was bummed but then when I got to the gym the two employees at the desk were so sweet. They knew it was my birthday cause when you scan in it says happy birthday if your day falls on a day you work out and scan in. Well what they said totally cheered me up and made me feel better about things so I am not down about it anymore. I swear sometimes it takes someone that is not family or friends to say something so positive and sweet that is makes an impression. Those two totally made my day and I wish I could thank them but don't know what to do,(should I just say thank you or should I get thank you cards for them?). Thank you all again I feel very special right now. Shannon

| You are welcome! Don't ever feel bad about getting older - think of the alternative!!  Age is just a number! I wouldn't give the people at the gym a thank you card. I'd bring them something they really enjoy for the next time you see them. | |
