| Wow teddy!! Thank you for all your work here!! Awesomeness.
I have to say I'm surprised at his look last night. Very pleasantly surprised I must say. I expected him to be more glammed up, but this look is perfect if you ask me. Maybe tonight will be totally different who knows but last night was awesome!! I love the shorter hair and the makeup.......it was just enough.

| Interesting review. They do have some valid points. I hope Adam reads these while trying to figure out his tour. This one in particular about the backup singers. I wish he'd give up the dancer notion and have some singers instead. - Quote :

http://www.vancouversun.com/entertainmen....0186/story.htmlIdol runner-up Adam Lambert loosens up for summer solo tour By Graeme McRanor, Special to the SunApril 8, 2010 11:34 PM REVIEW ADAM LAMBERT Thursday night at Red Robinson Show Theatre (Boulevard Casino in Coquitlam) Also performing Friday night at River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond Guy-liner enthusiast Adam Lambert is a man of contradictions: He's openly gay but attracts a mostly female crowd. He was runner-up on American Idol, yet made the cover of Rolling Stone. He was blacklisted by the television network ABC after simulating oral sex with a male dancer during his performance on the American Music Awards, yet he’s playing at a casino in Coquitlam (and one in Richmond tomorrow night). There’s nothing wrong with the casino circuit. In fact, it’s reportedly quite lucrative. It’s just that Lambert’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, debuted at number 3 on the Billboard charts. Five months ago. Considering that the Red Robinson Show Theatre’s upcoming concert slate includes veteran acts Air Supply, Don Rickles, and French-Canadian master impressionist Andre-Philippe Gagnon, well, there’s arguably a wee bit of incongruity in the house. Then again, maybe not. These two suburban shows are actually tuners for his first solo headlining tour launching this summer. Not that anyone in the crowd cared. (Interestingly, tonight's sold-out show was added due to demand - Friday's show sold out in 10 minutes.) Chants of "Adam, Adam, Adam…" filled the theatre well before the glam-rocker took the stage and, when he did, high-pitched squeals surely had Coquitlam's canine population placing protective paws to ears. Lambert, backed by a four-piece band, kicked things off with the title track from his debut, but quickly halted the song because they were "missing something." "I'm sorry about that people," he said after he successfully got through the second attempt. Nobody held it against him. There's no denying Lambert's talents. His excellent acoustic cover of Tears for Fears’ Mad World proves that he’s best on ballads, sometimes even showing shades of George Michael (although some of his songs could really use a couple of backup singers to harmonize with). Lambert tends to get a bit showy and theatrical on heavier fare like Music Again, occasionally even venturing into the realm of corny party anthems (think Kylie Minogue live from Ibiza with half as many green lasers). Although, as the crowd’s enthusiastic reception proved, there’s certainly a healthy appetite for that. He struck the best balance between his dynamic voice and song on upbeat tracks like Sleepwalker and, particularly, Fever, his final song of the set written by Lady Gaga and Rob Fusari. His major problem is that he's just trying to do too much. His vocal range is impressive, but he still needs find what works best. And that’s okay. After all, he’s just starting out. Remember, it wasn’t that long ago that the most famous Lambert in the world was still that guy from the original Highlander movies. Not anymore. Adam Lambert truly could be a rock star in the making. Then again, he might end up as the lead in the next Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. Honestly, it's too soon to say. Though certainly not for the countless female fans screaming for him Thursday night. To them, he's already an American idol. Special to the Sun

| That is the thing about these early concerts. It helps them figure it all out and fine tune everything. I think it is a pretty decent review. | |

| I thought it was as well. I have a feeling that tonight could be totally different to gauge reactions.
I also noticed the comment about him trying to do too much. That could be rectified with decent backup singers to help him out. They can carry that extra load and he'll need that during a solo tour. He had that vocal trouble during the AI tour and if that happened again (god forbid!) he could be SOL........
FY........we can dream! ....but I do suspect that he'll be somewhere between Fantasy Springs and last night for most of his tour especially in North America. He can let more of his glam out overseas. The important thing is for this tour to sell and whatever look works is what he'll be going with.........I think! Then again......I've been wrong plenty.
