ADAM - QUESTIONABLE DECISIONS?

I love Josh's voice but for whatever reason I have never felt lead to find out more about him or to go to any concerts. It is interesting how one performer will grab you but another won't. I generally seem to only like one at a time. When I say LIKE I mean the kind of like that has me reading several boards and following everything he does. Now for the first time I am following two. Mostly Adam but Clay still has a hold on me, though not like it use to be.

It goes without saying I love everybody here and I have no issues at all with those who don't feel as I do about Adam's shows. I would have thought by now that is a given. I would have thought people wouldn't take it personally. I'm only stating my feelings - in a nice normal speaking voice - as people sitting around a table discussing/debating issues.

On several other boards they at all times call him "Adam Freaking Lambert" or "AFL". So that is all I was doing last night in my post. I have joined Awop and they always refer to him that way. So that is what I am going to be doing a lot here. Sorry if someone took it to mean I was mad at them.

I think Josh Groban has one of the all time most gorgeous voices ever! I just do not find him interesting.

I do not think that Adam kissing Tommy is "all about the gay". I think he does it to be sexy. Add sexy to the show. He just happens to be gay so he kisses a male band member. Straight male rock stars kiss female band members.

Jaycee - when I was in HS I went with a group of friend to see Jefferson Airplane. Grace Slick was my idol when I was young. We had 10th row center seats. After one song Grace raised her dress up over her head - and no, not a stitch on underneath. Flashed us all her goodies! Yep, rock and roll! And that was the early 1970s. Been going on for a loooooooong time!

I'm going to hate myself for even saying this but I just wrote out another long post. Unlike last night though I don't think I'm going to put it here. Not because I don't think I can share it or should share it but because it honestly wouldn't do any good.

Anyways I really just want to give everyone lots of these..................

Oh dear!! I can't even imagine what I would have done. I think I would have been afraid to go to a concert again.

Teddy I would like to read what you have to say, but not because I think it will change anything. I have said my piece and I think everyone still feels how they feel. Sometimes it just helps to say it, just to get it out, I know it did me.

HA! Jaycee - after we picked our jaws up off the floor we just laughed. And of course everyone was passing booze and joints around us. I guess you can see why what Adam has done is really pretty mild to me.

My very first "real" rock concert in downtown Chicago was Rod Stewart and faces, Deep Purple and Southern Comfort. Three bands for $5.50 Anyway, Rod ended the show - which went on hours past when it was supposed to. He told everyone to come down to the stage. He had his roadies line the whole rim of the stage with bottles of whiskey and wanted people to come and get one. Obviously they weren't carding us My best friend and I didn't take one - but many underage kids did. People were opening the bottles and drinking right out of them! Free booze and pot everywhere you looked. There sure wasn't anybody worrying about "the children" at the concerts I used to go.

Of course a few years after that Rod really hit it big and I had so wished I had taken one of his bottles for a keepsake. I stood right at his feet and never dreamed he would become an Icon of rock music.

I don't think any of us ever posts with the idea that we will change anybody's feelings or way of thinking. It's just discussing. Getting all the viewpoints out there. Maybe sometimes it does help others see both sides.

Jaycee, thank you for reaching out to me and wanting to see the post. canear wants to see it too. Both of you have reached out to me and I so appreciate it. More than I could possibly say. I actually didn't finish this post I started to write. Once I read over what I had I realized I needed to step back. And that's the reason I'm not got to post it at this moment. When I said it wouldn't do any good in my post above I meant it wouldn't do any good for me. I just know if I post it since it's so heavily passionate and angsty someone is going to say something in response and it won't be pretty. I'm doing it for my own "mind" and heart right now. I don't want to say something I'll regret. But most of all I don't want to end up in tears. So I'm leaving well enough alone.

Once again though HUGS to everyone.

I appreciate that we can say how we feel and not be accused of not really being a fan. That isn't possible everywhere.

Yes FC I can see after the concert that you have been at, that you wouldn't find Adam all that shocking.

I know I do.

I'm leaving this subject alone for now but I'm afraid it will come up again. In the meantime, I just have to ask Adam what the heck he was thinking when he did this! I think it's the worst one yet.

Adam's hair will grow back soon enough, but I like the shaved side and the way he wore it! I love that it wasn't all slicked down and in place.

I LOVED THE WHOLE REST OF HIS HAIR!! It was awesome!

I like the little razor cuts too. I'm just not thrilled with how much they shaved off the one side. Just not fave look. But he still looks amazing!

Hey, at least he didn't do what Justin did and shave his entire head completely bald! Now that I just never want to see Adam do!

Oooh, I wonder what he'd look like with his head shaved? Probably killer! I don't think he'd ever do that because he likes changing his hair up all the time, but ya never know. Personally, it wouldn't matter to me, as long as it didn't affect his voice.

I wonder who it is they have cutting their hair and if what they are getting is really what they wanted. I have had a few haircuts that didn't come out quite the way I imagined.

If he ever shaves his head, I will just be listening to him and not looking... But, If he ever wanted to go natural, like for a movie or something, I can see him getting it all cut off and then going into hiding for a month or so and he would reappear as a different person.

Well, I would still love him to bits for his voice, stage performance and personality....but, I would have a little trouble seeing the sexy

Jaycee - I am pretty sure Adam is getting exactly what he asks for in his hairstyle. Celebs and their stylists have a way better relationship than when you or I go for a haircut - style. And that is exactly why I have done my own hair for years!! One too short or curly style too many!!

Adam has one danged good hair stylist. His hair always has the look of perfection. Never a bad hair day.

Huh......I don't think yesterday was such a good hair day.

There have actually been quite a few times I haven't liked his hair. I can't stand it when it goes straight up in the air but that is my personal taste and I guess others love it. He isn 't going to please everyone, so he has to please himself. Someone should really write a song about that
