Man, is it possible they really sold less than 1,000

It can happen cause if you can't find them easily at the store most people don't go out of their way to order on line cause it usually cost more cause of the shipping. Also most people I know are being very stingy with what they use their credit cards on and I bet a lot of people are doing this. This is not the economy to go splurging on stuff using your credit card and have to pay a fee for it. As I said if you can't get something easily at the stores most go without it. Also I know that stealing the songs is still going on cause some people keep putting High Quality versions of the songs on Youtube. People say why buy it if we can get it for free. Pisses me off that people steal these artist albums. I can understand a song or two but a whole freaking cd is just so wrong.

Kris and Allison - that's another story. I do know that people stole Kris's.

I know for a fact they did and I know some names that did it They came on the Kris forum on Idol forums and said how they got the High Quality songs. I so wanted to reach through the monitor and strangle them. Also I was reading about this girl who was bitching at some people for not paying for Adam's cd,(yes they stoled his two), but then bragging about how she stoled Kris's. I was like Hypercrit much?

No surprise there. I'm used to the disappointment so I don't even look for numbers for Kris and Alli any more. If they do get numbers I get very excited for them.

My only hope during the week is finding singles numbers for Kris's LLWD!

I just got numbers for Kris's cd and I tell ya it makes no sense that Danny Gokey's numbers showed up when he sold 1000 and Kris's numbers did not show up. His cd did sell 1000 cd's last week. Brian just added these numbers today.

Kris and Alli's cd's are sooooooooooooo good and Jive is doing nothing to help them sell them. They are both working so hard but without having some tv appearences they are suffering. They need to get on Ellen or something.

Unfortunately the only TV promo they can do at this point because it's summer is the early morning talk shows (Early Show, Today Show, GMA, R&k, The View) or the late night talk shows (Letterman, Leno, Kimmel, Fallon) . Everything else is on hiatus for the summer. There's also appearing on America's Got Talent or SYTYCD. But that's pretty much it.

My heart definitely breaks for both of them.

Even when it is not summer there is not much prime time. There is Idol and DWTS. They don't have variety shows anymore like the days of Ed Sullivan. So you got morning and late night and Idol and DWTS. That's it.

I must say I am shocked that Allison's single has only sold 4,000

I am putting this in here so all see it. It is on a clay site but the write up is valuable. It is quite sad what artist go through. Reading this it makes me feel worse for Kris and Alli :( Also it makes me more mad at the people who keep stealing peoples cd's and won't buy them. If you are interested in getting the cd then buy it. It always pisses me off when I hear someone say I want the cd but I don't care about the artist enough to go buy it. It is obvious they don't care if they are willing to steal the whole thing. I have got cd's that someone shared with me, but what I do if I see that I like it is I have either gone and bought the physical copy from the store or I have gone on Itunes and bought the songs that I loved because buying the songs helps out to. These artist that are trying to make it out there deserve a lot more than they are getting and fans should be trying to help them out and not make things harder for them.

ETA: Touring and merchandise is for sure what gets money in the pockets of the artist so I am stoked Adam is doing well and since his tour is doing well I would assume Alli is doing good. Kris is doing well with his small gigs as well as the bigger ones so I am happy for him to.

ETA: Also after reading this I am going to congratulate Kris for being Frugal. Someone,(a fan of his), once said that they thought Kris was too stingey with buying stuff well after this I'd say to that person that Kris has the right idea. Kris saves money when he can; He sticks with his wardrobe of Jeans and tshirts which honestly is a good thing cause he doesn't has to fork out big bucks and he hey he looks hot. He has enough nice suits that when he has to dress up he can. Kris has a wife to think about so his way of thinking and dealing with the money is a great thing and I am proud of him for thinking smartly when it comes to all this cause I think he knows that he is still only beginning and he knows it is going to be tough and a lot of work.

Very sad situation for the artists. Don't think there is an easy fix for this. I guess the only consolation is that the record companies who have been ripping off artists for years are now getting ripped off themselves.
