Interesting theory. Not sure I would be happy about that one. I hate to think he would lie to Jane and date her while married and propose to her while still married. I think of Owen as one of the good guys so that would be disappointing for me.

Not sure how I want their romance storyline to end.....but I want Owen to truly be a good guy.

They did not show enough of next week's show to give us any clues...

Actually, if my theory is correct, I think it's one of those deals where the marriage has been over for a long time, but no one's ever bothered to end it because it hasn't been necessary. I don't think Owen's had a serious relationship in a long time.

So now what do you think is up with Owen??? Do you think it is really over? How long has he now been gone in "their time"? If this is truly how they are going to end the Owen story than I am quite disappointed with the writers. How about Luke?? Is he just gone from the firm or gone gone??

I think this is a test for Jane. You'll notice that Luke did nothing last week to prevent Grayson from comforting her and usually he'd be the first person to make sure that didn't happen.

Anyway, I think the point is that now is the perfect time for her and Grayson to get together. But the thing is, he's part of her (Deb's) past and she needs to move forward.

This is about Jane making decisions for herself, I believe. Luke isn't "interfering" because Jane has to make the final call.

I get that, but I don't get they way they had Owen just disappear. Why not have them together a little while after the engagement and then he changes his mind rather than totally disappear. What about his career?

But that's the thing. He has to look as bad as possible so Jane will be more tempted to be with Grayson.

I think a lot of this will be explained when Fred comes back which should be within the next couple weeks.

I'm starting to wonder if something happened to Owen. Murdered maybe and someone is using his credit card I find it too out of character to just disappear and not explain things to Jane. Not buying it.

I don't think so considering that he's back at least for the season finale.

I think Fred's return will answer a lot of questions.

Oh, so you read that he will be back for the finale? Well, I still hate what they have done with his character. Hope there is a super good explanation.

Yes, Lex Medlin who plays Owen tweeted that they had finished filming the season finale a couple weeks ago
and that he was taking his family on a month long vacation and staying off social media during that time.

Hmmmm. Because he didn't want to spill anything?? Read the negative stuff?? I wonder how this is going to play out. Do you know when the season finale is?

No, I don't. Probably next month, I think. Or early September.

I saw part of it. I had to tape it. I saw the very beginning and very end. I will watch my tape tomorrow. The ending was a shocker!

I see it is not on next week. Bummer. I did see the previews that show that Owen is coming back. Can't wait to see what he has to say!

Aw, what a shame. I suppose he will be off the show now. I enjoyed him. I really don't see why they didn't let the engagement go on longer. So sad for Jane.

No, he'll still be on the show this season but I don't know what his relationship to Jane will be.

And as I've said many times before, Fred is probably the one who will reveal all.

Can't wait!

Just seemed like a rushed storyline. One week propose and take the carriage ride. Next week disappear.

I'm eager to find out what happened too.

I watched it tonight. Not much happened in between the parts I saw Sunday. It was good. I'm bummed it is not on next week. Hate waiting two weeks for the Owen return!!

I still have faith in Owen.

Me too! I hope he has a super good reason for taking off. I at least want Jane and him on good terms.
