The entertainment business is tough. I think both Adam and Kris (especially Adam) knew what they were getting into when signing up for AI. I have to believe that fans are getting more upset about the mean comments on twitter and Myspace than Adam and Kris are. At some point, they have to separate themselves from the fame game and worrying about what everbody is saying about them.

There is a price to pay for being famous.. for every person that thinks you are the greatest, there are just as many that dislike you and make it their mission to shoot their mouth's off about it.

You got that right!! I think there are people who spend their every waking moment going to blogs just to add hateful comments

Okay if I see one more freaking thing putting down alli and Kris for not tweeting about Adam I will scream Jesus christ. I want Twitter to freaking blowup. These fans who are calling them and the other idols,(Matt, Lil, Megan and so on. They are giving Danny a pass cause they are saying he is a douch), Ferras, Cassidy and big name artist bad people cause they are not tweeting defence for Adam is BS. As long as his friends are showing Adam support in some way that should be freaking good enough. Adam's Best Friend Danielle has not tweeted a thing about Adam on her twitter and I don't think that makes her a bad person I think it makes her someone that is keeping things private. I bet she is totally supporting him and that is all that counts.

Now is the time when people like Kris, Matt etc need to show some backbone and openly support their friend and not worry about how they might look to some fans. That's what friends do. And I will be really dissapointed in Kris and the other Idols if they dont publicly rally around Adam. JMO

I honestly think that Kris does it privately,(shows adam support), but is clueless/scared/spineless/too young/immature to know how to make this kind of stand publicly ...... Matt, on the other hand, is panning out exactly how I always called it on Idol .... I always called him 'The Weasel' and I am as certain of that now as I ever was.

I can't remember any contact from either of them to each other since Idol tour ended ..and I certainly remember the thinly veiled barbs in his BubbleTweets (remember 'The Queen of the Hour'?) People used to diss Danny and Sarver big time, but I swear that it was Mr G that was the nasty piece of work in that crew.

I agree with you about Matt G. I always felt there was something off about him. Kris is a nice guy and all, but throughout this whole thing, he has come accross as being rather spineless.

I have to post something else to my rant. Why do people say that Adam and others always pubicly,(sp?), show support for the others on twitter? I can tell ya it isn't all true. When Kris was going through that hurtful crap with Rickey the snake who said all that stuff about Kris's cd being awful,(when it wasn't even half way done yet), and tweeting all that junk to Kris himself nobody pubicly said a word about it especially on twitter. They un-followed rickey but they didn't post anything for the world to see like Adam did with Alli. I bet they just called Kris or texted him about it all to show support. I do not believe Adam, Kris, Matt, Alli, Anoop, Danielle, Farras should have to tweet their support if they are showing the support to the person in other ways. It is not fair to call them bad people, worthless ass's, slime, Spineless, cowards and on and on. I am sorry if I go on about this but I feel this is wrong what people are doing. It is like guilting someone into writing something on twitter just so people can see it.

If this makes anybody mad I am sorry but I am just fed up with Kris and Matt getting called some of the worst names because they haven't tweeted about Adam. I do not believe for one freaking second Kris would not be calling Adam up and talking to him about all this. If people believe Kris is such a bad guy then they are for sure showing their true hatred for him.

I'm just going to say this and then I'm going to shut up.

No they don't need to tweet anything to show their support. It's not a necessity. They aren't required to do so. Nowhere does it say they have to publicly show support or constantly tweet about them whether it's in response to something positive or negative. No one is holding them down and making them do it. If people are calling them out and spewing all kinds of crap because they aren't that's their problem. Yes it's mean and spiteful. Yes they shouldn't be doing that and saying any of the other number of nasty things that are coming out of their mouths. Yes they should just stop and take several steps back and just shove off it already. HOWEVER the fact is a simple little tweet goes a long way. Anyone with a brain and a heart knows they show each other the love on their own in private. The thing is one small tweet isn't going to hurt anybody or take several minutes to do. Look at it this way alright Adam doesn't have to do half if not everything he does to show love and support to his peeps but he DOES. And he does it because he loves them and wants people to dig the stuff they do. He wants people to know what he's in to and like it like he does. Adam is a great guy and he's a great friend. A wonderful friend. No it doesn't make any of the others bad people or any less wonderful of a person and friend, but it's nice seeing them pay it forward when someone does something great for them. Return the favor is all I'm saying. I'm not going begrudge or hate anyone for not doing it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't mind or love seeing them respond. I think it's just something really nice and sweet. It's special. It makes us stop and say, "Oh wow check that out they're offering support. Cool."

Anyways that's my two cents. Now I'm putting putting a lid on it.

I would love to see it to,(just like I would of loved to have seen Adam, Matt, Alli give Rickey a piece of their minds when he pulled the backstabbling crap on Kris. But they didn't and I was not mad at them and did not expect one thing out of them. I knew they were supporting Kris behind the scenes so to speak), but laying in wait for it to happen like some of these people are doing and saying hateful stuff is not the way to get people to do this.

Also yes Adam does this and I love him for it but because Adam does do this now everybody is expected to do it for everybody also. Why isn't it good enough to send support the old fashioned way,(the way that most counts in my book), and have that be okay with people? I am sorry I can't swallow what is being thrown at people right now.

One last thing cause I am getting frustrated again. Why is it that Kris and Matt are getting all the freaking hate? Danielle is Adams' oldest and bestest friend and she hasn't once tweeted anything for Adam on twitter; about his cd about this issue and so on. She is probably showing him her support by being there for him; just as it should be. Any way she is not getting ANY of the hate that is being thrown the guys way and I am glad she isn't cause she wouldn't deserve it like Kris and Matt don't.

I guess this is going to go on till Kris and Matt and whomever else tweet; so my frustration is going to be here until the hate stops.

ETA: I am not saying I don't love seeing the support and love that comes from the idols for each other. I do I get the hugest kick out of it for sure, but if I don't see something from them that is still okay with me.

ETA: Teddy hope you don't think I am mad at you or yelling at you cause I am not. I am just very frustrated about things right now.

ETA: Kris did tell people to go buy Adam's cd so it isn't like he hasn't said anything.

Rickey saying something stupid about Kris's not even done yet CD was such a joke - and only seen by people who read his blog - that I don't think any of the Idols felt it was even worth giving Rickey more hits by drawing attention to it.

However, Adam is taking an international beating that is being seen worldwide by millions and having a huge effect on his career!! You better believe I think a "best friend" should show public support!!

Actually the Ricky thing was all over twitter also cause he was posting all the stuff and he put the stupid video up. Also it was all over the internet on MJ's blog, Jim and Slezack all were talking about and trying to understand why Rickey did it. Also Rickey tweeted EVERYTHING to Kris and that is why Kris stopped following him.

So you are disappointed in Kris; Are you also disappointed in Adams long time best friend Danielle who hasn't tweeted a word about Adam all in support or anything else? If Kris and Matt are going to get busted for this then Danielle should to.

I am not mad at any of them cause I know in my heart they are showing their support in there own way and that should be all that is needed.

I will stop on this now cause nothing said is going to change your minds or my mind.

Danielle is not famous. Most people wouldn't know who she was. Kris is the current American Idol.

So Danielle is off the hook and Kris gets it all even though he did show support to Adam when he was on the Bonnie Hunt show,(which is publicly in my book). Kris may not be the most articulate in the bunch but he doesn't say things to just say them.

I download music illegally and I don't feel guilty about it really. It is just the way it is now and even though the record companies are putting all these efforts into stopping illegal downloads as are the big film companies, it just ain't going to happen. The sharing of information etc on the internet is not something that can be stopped. Every single person I know, without exception, downloads stuff illegally. What are they going to do, arrest all of us? Fine us all ridiculous amounts of money and cut off our internet. Puh-lease. They are just trying to scare us but in the end
they will lose the fight.

I don't really feel that sorry for most artists because they still make a lot of money. They just don't make the RIDICULOUS amounts they once used to when everyone would buy their music. So instead of making 10 million they make 1 and frankly that is something I can live with They don't need to make a gazillion dollars.

I do also purchase music when I really love the artist. I purchased Adam's CD and Gaga's most recently but I have also purchased other's in
the past, especially if it is a new artist that I want to hear more from like Frankmusik for example.

People like these are the reason so many artist have trouble selling cd's. This people who I posted the post from and a few others are a few I know downloaded Kris's cd without buying it but they did go buy Adams,(I am glad they bought Adam's but am so ashamed of them for hurting Kris in their need to not want to pay for his cd. They freaking wanted his cd so why couldn't they just freaking pay for the whole thing?)

As I have said I do get the songs downloaded when you guys bring cd's you bought and want to share with us; but many of times I have gone on Itunes and actually bought many of the songs that I totally loved from the cd to give financial support for the person or I have gone and bought the cd so I have a physical copy to.

What these people are doing is wrong cause they aren't even trying to help the artist out; If they want the cd they just get it free and that is the end of it

Then there are the many post that have them saying that after Adam sings a song NOBODY ELSE should ever sing it again cause Adam now owns it.

Then comments that Adam is the BEST singer in the world and no one can compare.

Or never watching idol again Cause Adam ruined the show for me and he is it; the one.

I love and Adore Adam as I do Clay,(because their VOICES ARE FREAKING AMAZING), but when the claymates did this is got to out of hand cause they did these post Daily and during idol they were freaking relentless to the idols. they would diss people to no end when someone else sang a song Clay did. Poor David Archuleta was ripped to shreds when he was given "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" during the finals of his season. David did an amazing job on that song but to the clay fans it is like he croaked like a frog during the performance. Some of the Adam fans are doing the same thing and it is crazy. If I see anymore of this stuff I am going to start thinking that some of these crazy Adam fans are a large group of the ClayMates that took off on Clay after he came out. Yes I know Adam is gay like Clay but I actually heard many people left Clay not because he was gay but because he chose to hide the fact for so many years and as they see it he lied to everybody. Anyway it just boggles my mind with the mentality that you can only have one singer in your life and not love the music of others and also to believe some other artist can do a song just as well.

For me I can't be that way I love and adore music way to much to totally go with one singer only. I could not ever do it. It is not possible. I have to have my ipod with me all the time and it is filled with so many different singers of all styles.

Okay done ranting I was just having major Deja vue moments and had to get it out.

ETA: Thank you God no one on the Adam boards have started with the "Idol Found Game over" crap. I will just faint if I see that again actually I won't faint I will run screaming cause then I will know I have just landed in the twilight Zone and that is why things are like freaking Deja Vue!!!

I think in some cases you hear someone cover a song and the version they do is just so beyond amazing you simply can't imagine anyone topping it. In the same breath sometimes it is better than the original and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It all depends on personal taste! I know it's been that way for me a few times and not just with Clay either. As far as not being able to watch Idol anymore because of how insanely awesome Adam is well I highly doubt anyone will come on this season who can measure up, but it's not impossible. I just don't see it happening....least not yet if ever depending on if Idol continues after this season. But for anyone to ever completely stick with one person whether it be Clay, Adam or someone else well they're seriously missing out on a lot of other great and fabulous music. It's unfortunate and way too bad for them. Hey it just means more for me! Then again I can understand your world being totally flipped around and turned upside by a person. It happens and it's only because no one like this person has ever come along before and it's true that they can get you involved in things you never could have imagined yourself being involved in. So it's all very new and exciting. I just wouldn't ever solely stick with it being the only ONE because you've got to know that there's more greatness out there for you to find and enjoy.

Teddy I agree with what you are saying but look at it this way. The Clay Fans said that there would be nobody better than Clay ever on Idol and look we got Adam,(also in my opinion we got Anthony Fedorov who I believe is just as talented and great as Clay. I think if Anthony ever gets signed he really could be up there his voice is amazing.).

For me I think there has been many amazing singers that came from Idol but I know some look at things different than I do. My way of picking them is if one of the singers can touch my heart and make me feel something when they sing then I am a fan. That is how I started with Kelly and that is how I have been the rest of the seasons. Others go about it much differently and that is cool. Also I know that there is times when you hear a song sung by someone else and it was fantastic you say that is now their song but it just seems weird to me to say that now nobody can ever sing this song cause the person they love sang it and another version could never live up to it. It is like programming your brain to not give another singer singing the song a chance to impress you. Sorry if that part don't make sense.

Adam is greatness for sure but why block yourself off from others that could be great? Some people like many of the Claymates have blocked themselves off so long that now that Clay hasn't been singing they are totally just playing his cd's and other stuff of his daily cause they will not let themselves like anybody else. If they freaking would open their eyes they would see so many great singers with Adam being a huge one there. I don't want the Adam fans that are doing this go down this same path.

okay I am now getting tired and probably not making any sense. All I know is that shutting yourself off from liking others and totally refusing to let anything else in your mind just doesn't seem natural to me. It never has and never will.

ETA: i forgot to mention one thing you mentioned. I do agree fully about when someone sings something and you find yourself loving it better than the original. I have that issue with Heartless. I hated it from Kanye West but when Kris sang it I was Floored and now I love the song and feel Kanye wrote an amazing song. I just hate hearing Kanye sing it. So thanks for pointing that fact out and making it make more sense to me

5:00 pm on Weds. Dec. 2nd my son Eric was found "clinically dead" on a gas station bathroom floor. Partly due to evil people who do evil things and prey on vulnerable kids/people. After this - I just can't begin to get upset about people loving an Idol singer TOO much. So unimportant. So not worth getting worked up about. Whatever floats their boat. They ain't hurting nobody.

I may however change the title of this thread to "Those Bad Adam Fans" as the rants seem mostly about them

Oh, and I just want to add that that kind of OTT devotion is not limited to Idol fans. I have seen it for singers like Streisand and Celene etc. Just the way some people are. And there is no crazier fan behavior than OTT sports fan behavior!

Also, adding - I for one doubt Idol will find anyone quite as "exciting" as Adam again. He was just really something so different and amazing. They will lots of good singers and probably some great one too - but as interesting and exciting? Rhinestones on their eyes singing with Kiss?? Have my doubts. But I will continue to watch with an open mind.

It just kind of hard for me to see people be this way. One reason I was getting the smack downs by the I love only Clay fans was because they couldn't see why I liked so many of the Idols and they would pm me saying I was cheating on Clay and blah blah blah. It got very disturbing. That is one reason I stopped posting on street and pretty much stayed in the Music and tv forums where I knew my friends hung out. I knew they wouldn't send me the hate messages cause they also loved other artist and idols. I felt safe.

I don't want you upset cause you have far more important things to think about.

I keep these things to myself next time.

My point really is to just not let it upset you so much. Yes, anybody who PMs you you should PM them back with a "GET A LIFE AND LEAVE ME ONLY" message. But as far as the people on the message board posting dumb stuff - I would just roll my eyes. Sad for them if they will ONLY listen to Clay or Adam or whoever as that is their loss, but I just wouldn't let it bother me. Just like I won't let the OTT fans that post goofy stuff about Adam bother me. You are going to make yourself sick or get an ulcer if you let them get to you.

I am bothered when I see them HATE on others so much - but I cannot change anybody and they would never listen to me if I tried. That is why I stopped reading the CV instead of posting good things about Adam to counter all the hate. They wouldn't give a rat's behind what I had to say - so I just let that board go from my life.

I vented what I needed to and got it out of my system and now I am better

I am deleting my post cause I just found out who wrote one of the articles and one of the blogs,(that were ticking me off), which were About Adam's mentoring the group next week and how he was the only person to ever help out the Season 8 idols,(which is untrue cause Adam would be the first person to throw out there that Kris helped out a lot; also Alli would speak up to say that Kris and Adam helped her the most on her song choices), so I now see this isn't someone not doing their homework I see it as someone who is just being her cruel I hate Kris self!
