Beautiful Fall Colors

We had just a gorgeous Fall day, so we took a short drive. The leaf color is just about over with, but there was still some beautiful colors and sights.

WOW!! Those are amazing pix!! So gorgeous!! It's been beautiful here for the last two weeks! Hubby and I have taken 3 long drives the last two weeks to look at the fall colors. We don't have any mountains though Crying or Very sad

Cows and cornfields we got! Razz

I'm hoping others will post some pictures! Our leaf color season is almost over.

We get some color, but I would have to drive to Seattle to get the best color show to post.

Your photos are fabulous Sky! We also had a beautiful sunny day yesterday. Are you in the Pacific Northwest?

Sky, what beautiful, georgous pictures!! Is the waterfall the one at Snoqualmie Falls on I-90?

HL, I am in Renton, WA.

Yes, the waterfalls are Snoqualmie Falls. Not much water going over but it was more than I expected. The last picture was of Mount Si in North Bend.

Glorious day, 60 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, a slight breeze! It doesn't get any better!

Seriously, the autumn colours are amazing- I love Spring & Autumn - Spring has such a clean fresh feel, blossom & new grass colours...& Autumn has such an array of colours, kinda serene on a bright still day Very Happy

I'm sure we'd all like to see pictures of the UK. No, there is nothing stunning about rain, as here in the Seattle, WA area, we get our share and more. If it's not raining, the sky is gray with clouds. We do get a few exceptions though, like the days we've been having lately. Usually in the Fall, it rains and it's been so nice to walk through DRY leaves on the ground.

Pictures from the UK? I'd love to see them.

In a previous job, I used to talk frequently with a man in the London office of the company and the rain is what he often mentioned when I asked him how it was there. When I asked him about the best time to visit, he jokingly said 2 weeks in August.

With rain comes the greenery that makes things grow and flourish beautifully and it also clears the air, so I think it's not such a bad thing. I haven't been to the UK, but I've heard nothing but positive comments from those who have visited.

London is my dream trip! If I could win a free trip anywhere in the world - that would be the place! I wouldn't need a second to think about it. I have been wanting to go there since I was a little girl and saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan Laughing
