I'm not sure about this show...........it's a bit 'campy' like Twilight. I know, most everyone loves Twilight, but I didn't. I will watch it a few more times, mainly because of the two brothers interaction with each other, and then decide if it's worth watching.

I'm with you Sky. I tried for Ian's sake but just couldn't get into it. I just like much darker stuff.

And for some reason I just cannot like anything that has teens. i don't dislike them in real life. I just don't want to watch shows about them.

I just love shows with teens! I always have! Buffy, Roswell, Dawson's Creek, Felicity, The OC, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, 90210!!! LOVED them all! Always have and always will! If it's a show about teen angst - I am so there!

Ian Somerholder en route to Hawaii

Ian Somerhalder phoned EW this morning to chat about his role as Damon on The CW hit The Vampire Diaries (look for his answers to reader questions on Thursday), but thanks to his apology for calling 25 minutes late due to the security at an airport in Atlanta, where the show films, being very, very thorough, we found out that he’s about to shoot Boone’s final-season return to ABC’s Lost. “I’m literally getting on a plane in 45 minutes to fly to Hawaii,” he said. “The only thing I can say is that I’m going back for several episodes….I have a script that weighs like 200 pounds, but I don’t really know what’s happening.”
Asked if he was psyched to return to Hawaii, he added, “I am, but you know what? I always have this romantic notion. Usually, when I would go back, I would have a week there, a great room at the Kahala, a convertible, a per diem, and what have you. And now, I wrapped [an episode of The Vampire Diaries] last night, I’ll fly there, I’ll work tomorrow, and then I’ll fly straight back and then come straight back to work on The Vampire Diaries. So it’s a 10-hour flight each way, and I’ll be on the ground for 24 hours….But I wouldn’t complain if you paid me.”

Cool for Ian! He is awesome! I hated it when they killed off Boone

I watched it again last night and I'm still really enjoying it! The relationship between the brothers is very intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

ME TOO! Loved it and LOVE the bros!! I think it is one of those shows that will just get much better as the story progresses and we learn more about their past.

Damon is going to be a wild ride!!

Just watched the 4th episode! OMG, Damon is such a bad vamp! I love his character the most and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be watching it. It's toooo 'Twilight like' except for the bad brother, Damon. Now with the 'witch', it might get interesting with her character as well.

Damon is my fave too - but I like the other characters also and I have no issue with it being "Twilight like" I love the show!

Oh the show was awesome tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait for next week!!! It is going to be really something!
