| Yes I did! It was really good! I loved the storyline and it is soooo true!! Everything geared toward skinny women! I was glad that her and Kim got a little better understanding of each other. Paula was funny as the judge too! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| A lot of people online seemed to think she was being a big baby and that she should either suck it up or lose weight. I think it wasn't so much that the store didn't have her size as it was that they treated her so rudely. And really, I think it was Deb that had the reaction. Remember she had been an aspiring model so she had to watch her weight and her figure and probably all the people she knew did the same thing. So it probably never occurred to her that people could be treated disrespectfully simply for being not a size 0. And notice that Stacy who was treated very well was also angry about how Jane was treated. |

| Yes, Stacy is a great friend! Love the actress too. So good at the dumb blonde roles. She was on Two and a Half Men also. True about the rudeness. Women of color are treated rudely at some stores too. But I think it was good to point out that the average woman is a size 14 - just so many of the really nice stores don't cater to that size. _________________ "You can kinda just be. | Brooke Elliott article| Quote: | In a TV landscape in which leading ladies are almost always exceptionally thin, it’s a refreshing change to see Elliott as the protagonist in a show that doesn’t mock her for her full-figured frame.
But what’s really smart about the show, Elliott says, is that it’s not just about weight issues and body image.
"It’s easy to see the weight thing at first, but there is so much more to the show than that," she says. "The show, it’s a myriad of ideas. It’s about self-acceptance and identity and what happens when your life doesn’t go the way you thought it would go. It’s about finding self-worth and about finding love. |
I thought it was neat that she said she sees the show as being in part about what happens when your life takes a different turn that you didn't expect because that's something I've thought of too in regards to the show. A lot of the show is about Deb learning to let go of some of the things that she had as Deb and learning to live as Jane. |

| I finally got to watch my tape of last week's episode!! I sooooo love this show! YAY for Fred being back. Cool he is human again. SO love the actor playing him. I am going to have to look him up because he is just so familiar to me! Same with the actress playing Kim. I just feel I have seen her before. I really enjoyed Rosie, Delta and Liza. They all played their parts really well. I am glad to see Jane is trying to move on as far as dating is concerned. I see it only has a couple episodes left. I so hope it comes back. I wonder if we will have to wait until next summer for it though??? _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| No, I taped it though. I have 4 shows to watch that I taped and that is one of them. I will try to watch it during the day today or tomorrow. I watched Desperate Housewives and taped Drop Dead Diva. I watched Mad Men and taped Brothers and Sisters. I watched Dancing with the Stars last night and taped One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl! I tell ya my TV schedule is getting killer!!! Last weekend I had 12 hours of shows to watch!!! I did flip the channel at the commercials so I do know "Jane" met her mom and had a date. Looked really good! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

Now Drop Dead against Housewives and Mad Men against Bros and Sis!! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| I remember one summer a friend of my mom's paid me $10 to watch her soap operas for her and let her know what happened because she was going on vacation for a couple of weeks and they wouldn't have any television. Now all you'd have to do is program the shows into your TIVO or DVR and watch when you get home. |

| OK - I watched the last episode yesterday afternoon. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fred is gone again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????? Why did they bring him back just to write him out again???? I love him! Well, maybe he will be back again someday. I love the way things ended with "Jane's mom". The actresses had good chemistry together. I wonder if "Jane" will go see Deb's mom - if she is still alive. Have they ever addressed her going to see Deb's family? I missed the first couple of episodes. I should go see them on-line somewhere. I really enjoyed seeing Jane get a little bit of a love life going! I really like the actor too. Wonder how that is all going to turn out. Can I just say again how much I love Brooke Elliott!! Love this show and I also love that it has put such a great focus on the country's obsession with being thin and treating over weight women like they are second class citizens! I am so going to miss this show when it's season ends. I hope that Brooke finds more work during the down time from this show. _________________ "You can kinda just be.
