Good grief why is everyone losing their shit over that??

Jax was beautiful but how is that qualified as an arena anthem?  Beautiful slow ballad like Yesterday was. 

Quentin was mesmerizing.  Rayvon comes off as too polished.......too much into himself if you know what I mean.......and seriously, Rayvon you are certainly no Stevie Nicks.  Puhlease...........

Maybe it sounded better live........I don't get it.

This season started with 4 different and interesting contestants and only 1 is left. So sad.....

Cockroach is a good description.

What a terrible tour this is going to be. Only Jax will be interesting and Rayvon hung on to win. I would not go see this tour. I do not like Nick whatever he sings.

I knew they were going to take last week out on Quentin.

The tour is going to be boring except for Jax. Nick will be lively. Clark, Rayvon and Tyanna? Blah.

I am utterly bummed.

What the heck is it going to take for Rayvon to go? Like seriously? He sucked the life out of both his songs tonight. He's no Sam Smith and he sure as heck is not Stevie Nicks. BLAH!

The second performance from Jax was positively GORGEOUS. Stunning. That is the Jax I love.

Quentin was great on both of his songs. I could feel his emotion big time especially in Shake It Out. I'm so going to miss him. It's not right..................

Nick had two great performances. Loved him on Harder to Breathe and he was fab on Maggie Mae.

I liked Clark better on Boyfriend than Yesterday surprisingly.

Tyanna had two okay/good performances. They weren't special but they were good.

So ticked that Quentin is gone and the horrid Rayvon is going to make the tour. That last note was ear hurting. Loved Jax on White Flag. Nick was my second fav of the night after Quetin. Clark, Rayvon, Tyanna do nothing for me.

Even if Quentin (and Joey) were on the tour, and they are the two I'd mostly be going for, I realized that the date they're here in LA is the same day I'll be at Staples Center for Shania Twain so I wouldn't be able to go anyway. At least now I won't feel bad for not being able to go.

My Twitter feed was 99% SaveQuentin I think it has been become a game of some to saverayvon and hurt idols credibility.

Joey was on board and tweeted to her fans to save her bff.

It makes no sense. Scott made a plea for Quentin and hopefully he signs him or Q gets a role in Empire.

At least I do not need to worry about dragging my computer off to Punta Cana to vote for Q.

Praying for a Nick-Jax performance.

Jax's second song was spellbinding. That is the Jax I love. But man she is erratic. The first was a hot mess.

Rayesha pulled a Gokey and still lives. That second song was a mess.

Did you all notice the self satisfied smirk on Harry when Q was eliminated?

There is no way it is going to be a Jax/Nick finale.  I wish, but that boring Clark will get there And then he will flop when he wins.

I don't care for Empire but that would be awesome if Quentin made it onto the show!  He would be great I am sure.

That last note was horrid that is why I couldn't understand people going ape shit when he was done!  Should have been screams of horror!

This tour is going to bomb so hard!  Poor Jax.... she should be going on tour with interesting and diverse artists like Joey, Quentin and Qaasim instead of the duds she is going with

OK, I see no "self-satisfied smirk".  Just gathering his papers and looking completely normal. In fact, I think he looks a little disappointed. None of the judges have any particularly sad or happy look.

Oddly, a person I haven't heard from who knows someone who works for Idol, that I met on the ID boards who was named MusicProducer for AI5-9.  Called me last night.  At like almost midnight.  She said Q wasn't even B2 it was Tyanna and Rayvon.  That the twitter vote was actually 70% Q-30% Rayvon. That actually only Joey lost to Rayvon. Daniel, Qaasim and Quentin beat him. Q wasn't even B2 in votes. He was 3rd.

Joey as Ryan said was close.

She said Scott, Michael Orland and many who work with the show are pissed.  But the call to rid the show of Q came down from sponsors same as Adam's.  

She said Quentin knew like with Jason he was told.  Thus his lack of intensity and fire.



The contract these kids sign says they can be removed at the shows digression gradualness of votes, tweets etc.

Rayvons last song was a train wreck and Tyanna worst of the night both songs.

But off I go on vacation not caring what happens here on out.

My guess is the bus heads for Nick.

Well, I am not calling anyone a liar but I just don't know about all that.  I can't imagine why they would  do all that to keep Sayvon.  Doesn't really make sense.   The ones they have left are not causing any kind of buzz like at all - so why get rid of all the interesting ones that at least had some people talking?? 

Nick is OK for the show but you know darn well he ain't no Daughtry and he is not going anywhere in the biz after the show.  Neither is Clark if you ask me.  So why get rid of all the edgy peeps??  Just doesn't make sense. 

I could see if the one getting buzz somehow ended up with least votes and playing around with things to keep that person.  But clearly Rayvon's only buzz is the fact that somehow he keeps getting the twitter save and NOT any buzz for him as a performer.  So doesn't compute with me.  

Quentin brought them the only media hype so far this season.  I would think THAT would be who they want to keep.  Buzz is buzz good or bad. 

This Top5 is NOT going to do anything good for the show so I do not understand manipulating the results for THIS boring mess - accept for Jax. 

A top 5 of Joey, Jax, Quentin, Qaasim and Clark would bring your buzz for diversity, something unique and different for the show etc.  Clark as your typical All American good looking good guy thrown in with the "quirky" ones.

I never saw any smirk on Harry's face, but even if there was none of the judges are obligated to like who we like or even like any of them.  If they are glad someone is gone they are human and can feel glad if their faves stayed.  Lord knows I would be smirking if Clark got the boot   

Hey, I don't hate Clark I just think he is rather boring, not current, and very over rated by the judges.  I do not see a "star" in the making or someone who will sell a lot of music and give Idol someone to boast about like Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry, Adam, Phillip, J-Hud and a few others.

Oh, I also want to mention the Bing Predictions.  They have been spot on right each week!

They had Quentin eliminated - had him in the bottom 2 with Rayvon this week.  Had Joey going last week, Qaasim the week before and so on. 

They have been pretty spot on with The Voice also. They predicted Deanna and Rob going home this week and they went home.

So I am skeptical about all of that.  Unless Bing is in on the "manipulations" also

Not going to argue but maybe Kate remembers MusicProducer from the day and she fed me lots of inside scoops long before the public knew.

There was no reason for her to lie.

Not arguing.  Just always leery of all the claims of lying and manipulations.  I can understand some manipulation if a frontrunner with buzz ends up bottom.  But why play around with results for someone always in the bottom and clearly not popular   I don't get the benefit to them for that.

For 14 years I have been reading about "insiders" and conspiracy theories etc.  and I always take them as maybe true maybe not true. 

I just don't get fixing it to have Rayvon beat out all the more popular ones.  Maybe it's true - but I just don't get what they think they will get out it.  I would think all manipulations would be done for ratings, sales, buzz, whatever they felt would make some profit for them.

Very interesting Hathor.  I put nothing past them.

Quentin and Tyanna didn't chart.  Maybe Rayvon has more fans than we all think ???

If Jax had recorded White Flag I think that would be up highest of the Idol songs.

For comparison though - The Voice peeps chart WAY higher!  Sawyer gets into the top 10 every week!

Oh, and from reading through the Idol iTunes thread usually the only one charting is Clark.  I think that boy is a total lock for the win.  So Canear will be happy!  My mom will be happy too. She likes him.  Her faves have been Qaasim, Joey, Jax and Clark.  She likes Nick and Tyanna fine they are just lower down.  She was never a fan of Quentin's.  I think she was one of those people who found him scary   And she hated the nose ring.  She loved watching Qaasim dance but wanted to cut his hair
