2015 Grammy Awards

I found it more entertaining than usual. I usually end up changing the channel at some point.

Praying that we see Adam there next year!!!!

I will say by far by favourite performance of the night was Annie Lennox. No doubt about it!

Strange performance by Madonna but I liked the new song.

I really liked Ariana.

Jessie J and Tom Jones were interesting.

Miranda was good though not my favorite song.

Not. Fan of ACDC but it was a great way to start the show.

I love this performance from Ed! I've said it before ad I'll say it again "Thinking Out Loud" is my favorite song from him.

Almost 4 hours of stuff I could have lived without. I love HAPPY, but that's about it. Sam Smith won too many awards and left nothing for Taylor

AIH. Z I'm glad Taylor didn't win! I'm sure it'll be a different story next year though!


Such a pretty performance from Adam and Gwen. Love that song.

So far AC/DC, Jessie J./Tom Jones and Ed Sheeran are my favorite. Annie Lennox hasn't been on yet.

Teddy ELO or the full name Electric Light Orchestra. Devil Women was one of their huge hits.

Just saw the Annie Lennox performance. That was so good and I love that song.

Loved Tony and Gaga!

Usher is so smooth. So good. So so good.

I love Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. I saw him on her Christmas show a few years ago. Saw Tony live twice in a Vancouver. First was a small nightclub that all the greats played before it was knocked down due to 'progress' and the other time was a theatre.

I don't quite get the combination of Rihanna, Kanye and Paul McCartney. It's just a bit confusing and odd. It's not necessarily bad though.

Loved the performances from Eric Church, Dwight and Brandy Clark. That was a very touching performance from Dwight and Brandy.

What a very bizarre performance from Sia. It was just like the video so I can't say I'm all that surprised. However, I still don't quite understand what that is all about. She's certainly an odd one. I do think it's a good song even if I don't get all that goes with it.

I really enjoyed this year's show. While some performances weren't on the top of my list or even favorites I don't really think there was a bad one in the bunch and that includes the odd ones. This year's show has to be one of my favorite Grammy shows in a long time. I'm so thrilled for Sam. He is very deserving of his wins! Congrats to all the other winners tonight too!

I will agree it was by far one of the better Grammys - but I still think a couple less performances so the FEW winners we actually get to see announced can actually have time to thank people before being rushed off the stage.

And Kanye ?? Can he just go the fuck away??!!  All his bashing of Beck's win and being all pissy about Beyonce not winning (yeah, like she doesn't already have a room full of Grammys) and getting up on the stage with Beck - he just is sickening!  Anytime black people don't win he is shooting his mouth off! Cannot stand him!  I do not like Beyonce at all and I am thrilled she didn't win that award!

Taylor has a house full of awards and has broken sales records and endless sold out world tours!  I don't think she is crying today   

I think Sam has a nice voice but it is not jaw dropping amazing like Adam.  It's a nice enough song but not an amazing song.  So nope, I don't get it.  Same with Ed.  Just nothing exciting or amazing to me at all.  Another one I just don't get all the hype about. 

I thought that was Kristen Wiig in that Sia performance!! Confirmed today. 

Pharrell can wear whatever he wants! Even though I don't quite get it   Love him and his song!!

FC, I understand what you are saying about Ed and Sam's voices not being as trained or have the range and control that Adam's does but they both IMO have a unique earnest honest heart touching tone. They are also both current and write touching moving songs.

If Stay was Adam's single, it would have been a huge hit. Adam jumped on that Electronica right at the time that it was being replaced by the singer-songwriter style.

Don't know who won. Will look it up but I am THRILLED Beyonce didn't and that Taylor didn't.

And to me Phillips plays, sings, performs and writes circles around Ed.  And a million times better looking.  Nope - don't get the Ed thing at all. 

Sam - I understand a bit more.  Not really my cuppa, but he does have a really nice voice. Ed sounds completely generic to me
