SAY HELLO!!

Wow Eric deserves a medal for all he does for them!  I can honestly say I wouldn't have done that for my grandparents....especially doctor's appointments.  I wouldn't have wanted the responsibility of it.      Sad but true.

Our nice weather is over. We had one whole day. Freezing rain and snow flurries tonight.

I have no hockey all weekend. Whatever will I do with myself?   

I just have to share the good news. I didn't want to say it outright earlier, even though I kind of teased it a couple days ago, because it was somewhat official but not really OFFICIAL until today.

Tomorrow I'll be going to Lea Michele's CD signing at The Grove in LA! The CD's and wristbands have already been bought and my mom just confirmed that it would be okay to go and it wouldn't interfere with our evening plans to celebrate our friend Mike's birthday. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Teddy!! Let us know what she is like in person. She looks so tiny!

Chris would be the one I would be most anxious to meet!  I love him!

Believe me FC he is one I most want to meet too. I've tried for TWO years but every time he has had a signing out here I've either had prior important engagements or it just wasn't a good time. My friend has met him three times and my cousin once! It's been so frustrating. I really hope and pray with his next book release it's going to happen! IT HAS TO HAPPEN!

DD is at a Victoria Royals hockey game tonight. So just me and hubby for supper. Made Knorr Sidekicks pasta. So lazy but it tastes good. Even have leftovers as I just wasn't very hungry.

Going to have some wine now and relax.

I'm starving at the moment. I'm not used to going so long between meals. I sure hope my parents decide on dinner soon.

What a difference a day makes!!  It is cold, windy, snowing with some freezing rain thrown in      So glad I got to go out and get my errands done yesterday.  Another crap day for Justin to work.....Well, it should shape up in the afternoon they say.

Warm-up coming starting tomorrow with several days in the 40s this week and maybe even 50 on Friday!!  That would be awesome!! 

Today I will just watch shows I taped, do laundry, do my nails and toes, and supposedly Rob wants me to help him with the taxes.  I got all my info together and added up for him a couple weeks ago, but now he has to do all the forms.  So much more complicated with a home business.  Usually he does it himself, but he has been so busy with work he wants me to help him.  So this should be interesting    

Anyway, a good day to stay in with this yuck weather.  Hope you all are having better weather and have a wonderful day!

 

No sun today but at least it's not freezing.  Some snow has melted away so that's a good thing!

Not sure what I'm going to do today.  No hockey so I'm free to do some other things on my long weekend.  Perhaps I will go out shopping and try to use some of the giftcards I've been carrying around.  We'll see.  Also the usual boring chores to do.  

Hathor and Teddy, we need to chat so when either of you are on send me a note!

Good morning. Grey but dry here. No banging is nice. All week they have doing the framing for thelasr the town homes. When they finish the t floor is gets quieter. Then all construction is done on our street.

Think I will make waffles for breakfast. No real plans today. Maybe a walk on some trails.

Kirah's team won 2-0. They played the Aztec's a team Kirah was double roistered on at 15. The girls were so nice to her. When they saw her they ran to her and hugged her. I miss that team. It also had the most fun parents. This team parents are so SNOTTY and HIGH BROW. Everyone boasting and bragging as to where their daughter is attending college. Snooty people with money just rub me the wrong way. I sit by myself and IGNORE them best I can.

Yes I froze. My feet especially. I layered up with my under armor and my legs and torso were fine.

So nice today like 40. HEAT WAVE

I didn't know they played soccer outdoors in the winter.    They don't around here.  There is an indoor venue not far from here where they play at this time of year.

Kirah plays soccer year round which will end when she attends college.

Outdoors March-November. Indoors Dec-Feb.

It takes me about a week to fully adjust to the change.

I would say leave it alone if it stayed on Day light savings time. I like it when it is still light when I get home from work and that is because if I want to take a walk around the neighborhood to get some exercise I can do it. When it is dark early I will not even try to do the walking cause it is way too dark.

Folks here who do like Lea check out her cd. I got the physical copy of it on Wednesday and I love it. Not a bad song on it.

It's a good thing I'm off work on Monday. It will be one less day they'll have to put up with my less than sunny disposition while adjusting to the change.

Good evening ladies.

Boy it sure has been a very long day but it was a great one! It was gorgeous today, summer like, though it was a bit warmer than I prefer, I loved it and have no right to complain. The CD signing was very well organized. Lea is beautiful in person. So pretty and so DANG TINY! She's petite in all aspects. She had on very tall high heels but without them she is certainly not any taller than me. It was so good to see her smiling and happy. She was very sweet and friendly. The signing itself went by incredibly quickly. It almost felt like if you blinked you would have missed it. That's how fast the line moved. We were at the beginning of the line after all the Barnes & Nobles members who attended went through. When you were done you had to immediately vacate the specific area they had designated for the signing. They also wouldn't allow you to keep your wristbands. They had to be cut off. It was a requirement put forth from the Lea's team they said. That was a bummer but in the grand scheme of things I guess it doesn't matter. Lea had a lot of people with her, an entourage if you will, it was like WOW. Anyway after we were done we went back to the back corner of the floor and sat down at the Starbucks café to just soak it all in, eat and talk. It was a great time. They had her CD playing on the audio system but after a little while it stopped. When we were ready to leave to go wait for our ride we decided to sneak a peak at the CD signing area and we were so surprised to see everything had already been cleared away. The big poster was gone. The table gone. We found out she went through 800 people IN AN HOUR! That's nuts!!! All in all it was awesome!

canear, as it turns out I won't be going anywhere tomorrow so I'll be available any time. Whatever time works out for all of us or the two of us let me know.
