FC I do think Avan is much hotter and if I was a young girl I would track him down cause he is
so hot and has so much charisma. He sizzles.

I do see a similarity in the broody dark looks but thats it.

That's very cool news for A&S regarding the duet with Dylan. Hopefully we get to hear more about it very soon.

I gave up on Teen Wolf after the first season but not because I didn't like it. In fact I loved the show I simply just can't keep up with everything. It's the same reason why I don't watch Switched At Birth anymore either and I loved that show as well.

Oh I could never give up either of those shows!!  Love them both!!

I am not surprised at all. I never loved it as you all know. I wouldn't count on a ton of promo for anyone from X-Factor.

I will miss USXfactor. I enjoyed it. Not a Voice fan.

I am not surprised the show was cancelled. It was bad and boring to me, and evidently to many others. I did like it better than The Voice, but that's not saying much. Simon should have stayed with Idol.

Simon wanted to put it to idol and make them see the show wouldn't survive without him,(which it has), and bring his show here and have it blow idol out of the water,(which it didn't). Simon and his ego!

I like The Voice better than X-Factor.  The judges/mentors are far more appealing and entertaining.  Really great singers competing too.

I liked Xfactor much better than the Voice.

It is very thoughtful that Simon wants to be around for his child.

He doesn't want to be away as much and that is admirable.

That constant back and forth must have been wearing as both shows were on at the same time.
Love the UK version but the U.S. version never quite had the feel but it is very difficult to bring that chemistry to the U.S.

I didn't like either one of them   

Had this last season been the first I think it stood a great chance because it would have had a viable winner. They did have a much stronger cast this year but the decline from season to season has been drastic. It just didn't stand a chance.

In my opinion, both The Voice and X Factor were too much about the judges. The contestants were an afterthought, and I was never impressed with a single one the times I did watch. Both shows came off as being fake, nothing more than a highly produced television show. I got sick of the judges falling all over themselves to praise mediocre talent.

While I agree the shows were about the judges, at least on The Voice the judges are super good at what they do and fun and entertaining and likable.  On X-Factor I only liked Simon out of all the judges all three seasons and there truly was not the chemistry they have on The Voice.

I think the talent on The Voice has always been worth watching.  The last round the contestants were just amazing.  So for me it is worth watching when the cycle is not up against my faves shows.  When it starts up again soon during the regular prime time season I will probably not catch a lot of it.

I disagree with you Teddy about this past season of X-Factor talent.  As you know I even stopped watching it because I didn't find the talent special at all.  I did like Alex and Sierra but pretty much only them.  And not even enough to follow them when the show was over.  IF they get to put out an album I will give it a listen.  But as far as being a huge fan - nope.

The only contestants I have tried to keep up on from the show are Chris Rene (the best in my opinion ever on the show as far as whole package) and Carly Rose to some extent, but haven't even checked on her thread the last few months.

Oh FC, loved Chris Rene.  I always have wished he auditioned for Idol instead.

He could write and is CURRENT!!  I had hoped he would be successful and followed him for
a year and was just so disappointed that he never broke.

During the Idol auditions several contestants copied her version of Toxic and Seven Nation Army.
Also her style of singing is now the in-way to sing.  

A&S also copied Melanie's Toxic on the Voice.

As you all know I am not a fan of female voices but I LOVED Little Bows.  

She IMO had it all the unique look, the unique voice, could play multiple instruments at the same time.  Drums with her feet for one.  Nothing she performed was karaoke.  She always made it her own.

Oh yes, loved her!!  So many awesome contestants on The Voice that get cut too soon because of the format.....

I thought Chris would do better also.  Some early success though.  Maybe something will happen in the future for him

I hope something breaks for both Chris and Melanie.

Fans are talking to them and very upset about this decision. Honestly Colton seemed like the best part of the group and the strongest singer. He was a big part of the group and it will be interesting to see if Andrew and Zach can go on without him. Country doesn't have a lot of strong duos at this time though so you never know what might end up happening for the guys.

Colton also spoke out on Twitter. He basically said that prior to being on the show he was a solo artist and that is really where his heart is at right now. He will be working on a solo artist and that is what he wants to do with his career. Restless Road won't be the same without him.

Colton is a fool. He was the front man in Restless Road. As a trio they stood a chance.

As a duo none and as a solo artist I do not think Colton has enough chops.
