What do you mean he has to work harder than others? There are plenty of others in the exact same area that Adam is in now that are working just as hard as he is. To be honest Adam is in a better place than some because he is getting invited to be on shows like Ellen even if it is not singing he is there and is being seen which is good promo. Also he has Glee coming up so he is in a very good spot as I see it.

Happy that Adam is having some good stuff happening right now while he is working on new music.

AIH said "rise to THE TOP where he SHOULD BE"! And she is completely right!!! With his voice and talent he deserves to be a the VERY TOP and shouldn't have to work his ass off at radio stations to get even one spin!

AIH - you were right on the money with that post!

Radio are jerks. They are snobs. They have something against people that have been on AI, The Voice, XFactor ect. It does not matter how good you are if you are from one of the shows you seem to get blacklisted. Only ones that ever get played are Kelly, Carrie and Chris and even those three I do not hear as much when I do listen to radio. Doing these shows is a double edged sword. It is a a good thing to get you noticed and to get a cd for some but you have to fight tooth and nail to get any radio support. Until radio starts to get rid of their snobbery all from these shows are going to have trouble finding any love.

The difference is Adam's voice is rare, phenomenal and one of a kind!  Everyone says so including his peers.  Icons in the biz cannot rave about him enough.  Someone like that should not be struggling in the music world.  Doors and arms should have flown open for him!

But he still comes from a reality show and for some reason Radio stations can't get past that. That is all I am saying. Yes it shouldn't be that way but it is and it does suck.

 I know this has been said again and again but if the AMA's debacle had not occurred and Adam had of gone more mainstream than Glam I truly believe he would have received the Kelly, Carrie Chris embrace. I hear Chris and Kelly all the time here.
(Lisa Frank CD cover, Glam OTT tour etc) But as we have discussed this forever I will leave it alone. RCA also made huge mistakes with singles and promo especially for Trespassing.

Adam has lost at least half if not more from his Idol fanbase and has not picked up lots of new fans or the younger demo as was hoped.

The interview in the studio this morning with Ryan Seacrest was wonderful, they talked about Glee of course, played a bit of MTN, Avicii collaboration and Queen.

Ryan had so much praise for Adam, it was a great interview!

Yes it was!  The interviews with Ryan are much better in studio.  Who is the girl?  I like her better than the other one who has worked with Ryan.

The other girl is sick, this one is replacing her for today.

He should keep this one permanently.

I will have to look for the Ryan interview. He is played here in the evenings so will clash with Xfactor and Glee.

So Hathor and Canear, you have not commented on Adam's amazing GLEE appearance, for which he is getting TONS of praise and press!!!  Did you seriously NOT watch Adam on Glee?????

If you didn't, you missed just about the best thing he has ever done!!! And it was ABSOLUTELY not a step backwards for him as he is getting GLOWING review after glowing review!! From Rolling Stone, MTV, Billboard, EW, and tons more!

There are no negative comments anywhere! AND Trespassing shot up on iTunes and Amazon!  So he sold some more albums to boot!

FC I did watch part of Glee. I enjoyed Marry the Night and really would like two shows as the New York parts for me are way better than the HS parts.

I am glad for the glowing reviews and itune sales.

The verdict for me is still out as it will take time to determine for me to see if Glee helps Adam
land a label and put out amazing music that sells and radio plays.

So I am avoiding nothing!!! I just do not know as do none of us.

I would never believe Glee is the most amazing thing Adam has done. I would say it would be
fronting Queen.

I will bring it over in a few mins.

I thought GLEE's Marry The Night was the best vocally and entertainment wise he has done!  Man did he blow the roof off and strut his stuff!

Shoshana said there was big news coming and that Adam would be to busy to be on GLEE as a regular.  So good things are in the works!

Ditto Hathor.  FC, I didn't answer because I did not watch the show.  I said I wouldn't and I didn't.  I don't like Glee and wouldn't sit through an hour of it even for Adam.  I knew it would be on Youtube.  I watched Marry the Night and it was excellent vocally.  Not keen on the OTTedness but that's nothing new for me.  
 
I pray the label news is imminent because music is where Adam shines and what he is meant to do.  I honestly do not want to see him on more than an episode or two of Glee.  You asked.  There's my answer.

The OTT was for the storyline.  His next scene (acting with Chris) he was all natural and adorable and beautiful!!

All his scenes were awesome!

According to what I read Bravado is handling the merchandise and is part of the Universal Music Group that handles most of the merchandise for many music stars.
