ADAM - ERA 2 MISC.

You aren't kidding things are changing for the worst!! But not the dating habits of young single men.  All the shit going on in Washington is worrisome!  But who, when, and why single people date sure ain't one of the problems in the world.

I watched the history of the Stonewall riots on PBS. That was one of the major turning points in gay rights. The right to go out to a club or bar and not get raided or beat up, thrown in jail etc. My brother went to a rally in Vancouver at some club as it tricked down to young gay men in other cities besides New York were the Stonewall bar was located. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonewall_riots It's almost a right of passage for gay men to go to clubs. So move on but Adam is an entertainer, single and loves the club scene.

Umm to me, Washington is one thing but the low morals of people and the sleeping around is as bad.

It leads to social decay. Sodom and Gomorrah comes to mind.

Sadly, the low social morals have been in the toilet for a looooong time!  I don't see it changing for the better ever.  And certainly not with the liberal left running the show and the media.  I am far more concerned with the insane amount of violence and total lack of caring for life than the sleeping around though.

So the world would be a better place with a conservative running things?  I know lots of those that suffer from lack of morals.

No. I am just saying with everything being so liberal, especially in the media/arts,  there is just nothing encouraging young people to change to higher values.  Even the attitudes towards pot. The violent movies and games.  I see it getting far worse in the future. 

But let's be honest, it is the conservatives who at least try to push strong morals etc.  Not saying if that is right wrong or a good thing or bad thing.  I don't even agree with a lot of conservatives.  Just saying the liberals, movie stars, music stars etc. sure don't encourage it.  Goodness there are music videos that are soft porn!  No, I sure don't see a push in anyway for strong sexual morals.  Look what Miley did and she is just getting rewarded for it with tons of press and huge sales around the globe.

FC your assumptions are just not accurate. I am not a conservative and tend to favor Democrats while I am a registered Independent. I have raised my daughters with strong moral convictions and to value and treasure their bodies, not sleep around, etc. They are also non-violent and do not do drugs of any kind. Briah doesn't drink much and Kirah not at all even though many of her friends in high school drink and dabble with pot and even stronger drugs.

Teen pregnancies are higher in conservative states as is welfare rates.

These social issues and lack of social morality IMO cannot be blamed on political stances.

Yes I believe it is media and music videos and magazine images etc. But neither party controls that.

Personally, I believe it is the push of lunatics to keep god out of our schools and lives.

Young people for the most part seem to lack a moral compass that guides them to make better choices.

Adam is happy enjoying his life and I am very happy for him.

FY, I do not connotate a happy life with sexual promiscuity.

To me, IMO it indicates a lack of emotional maturity.

I am not gloom and doom over Adam!  I think his life is probably pretty damn happy!

Hathor, I really wasn't referring to politics so much as the liberal media and it is the liberals in politics pushing God out of school.  Conservatives push God (too much for my taste actually) in schools and life and politics.  So that is really what I meant.  The liberals in office are the ones trying to stop the pledge, celebrating Christmas in the schools etc. 

Teenage pregnancy higher in those states - probably because lack of birth control pushed.  But the states pushing birth control also help increase the sexual activity.  So not sure the right answer there    

Rob and I raised the boys with strong morals and preached anti-drug use and put them in the "just say no" activities and programs and we see how that worked out     Way too many other influences out there that seemed stronger than Rob and I...

And we honestly do NOT know how much sex Adam is having and with how many.  People can assume all they want but they do not know.  Often times they can just be out on dates like I was.  I dated lots of men between my two husbands. Lots. And I had sex with NONE of them.  That is a fact.  I was adamant about having sex only with the man I was married to.  Did guys break up with me over that? Sure.  But that was the way it was.  And there were probably plenty of people who thought I was having sex with all the guys I dated.  Simply because most of them had sex with the people they dated

I do because I am concerned for Adam.  I sure as heck don't believe that he is just holding hands with the guys he is seen with.  Whether it is in a bath house or his own home, if he's not safe he can pay the price.  I don't think there is anything wrong with hoping that if he is going to be 'active' that he play it safe all the time.

I think he is smart enough to be safe.  I really do.

I don't think Adam will ever met the moral standards that some expect from him, he is a very sexual gay man and I accept that.

Hopefully some promo coming Glee on some talk shows etc. With Adam of course. Get the buzz going for the fall sweeps.
