NO JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE

Guys, I am so upset about this verdict I am shaking and crying.....

This precious little girl was left in a bag in the woods to rot and Casey is giggling in court with joy before she walks free. What the freaking hell!

Somebody make me feel better......

This is O.J. all over again. I want to punch something!

My boys are stunned and upset. They have watched a ton of this trial. They don't believe for a second she didn't kill her little girl. Neither do I.

God I am pissed! I didn't watch the trial like my boys did but I sure as hell saw enough to know she lied her ass off! At least she was found guilty of that!

FC- It is OJ all over again. Then who else did kill her??? I am sick over this.

She didn't even report her missing!!! What kind of mother wouldn't report the child missing!

I've been to all the news sites and read comments and there is not one in support of this verdict! In fact many feel her life could be threatened!

Now the other thing - she will make a ton of money off movie and book deals and the media circuit. This is all freaking horrible. I was not obsessed with the trial because I was so positive there was no way she would get off.

How could they not find her guilty of manslaughter or neglect?? I am stunned I tell you! Why not just be hung?? Now because of double jeopardy laws she can't even be tried again!

My heart is breaking for that little girl tossed aside in a garbage bag like dog poop.....

Sometimes you just wonder about the justice system.

I hope someone kills her.

Maybe her father since she threw him under the freaking bus!

It definitely should be an eye for an eye in this case. What the heck was the jury thinking letting her go? If they didn't believe it was first degree then find her guilty on the lesser charge. As much as I'm for the death penalty, I do believe it deters a lot of people on a jury from voting guilty. The jurors are going to suffer some angst from this, that's for sure.

Well she won't have a life. Someone will either kill her or the media follow her like vultures until they get something on her.

I honestly thought when they came back so fast that it was a guilty verdict. I don't understand it.

They should have at least ordered mandatory sterilization so there isn't the chance of her bringing another child into her sorry life.

Same here Canear! When it was reported that the verdict was in I said to the boys GUILTY! When they come back that fast it is always bad for the defendant. I almost fell over when all the not guilty verdicts were announced!

The fact that she waited 31 days to report the baby missing (and even then it was her mother who did that) and spent that time partying and having a good time should have been a clue.

There is no earthly reason to wait that long.

I was STUNNED by the verdict. Stunned.

By unfortunately by the end this case had became about everybody else but Caylee, too many derails.

The worst part is that she can have another child, is her right.

That's just frightening.

The fact that she lied for a month when asked where Caylee was should have been a clue to her parents. I guess they just didn't want to believe that she would lie about something so important. I bet her mother will always regret not taking custody of Caylee herself. It was obvious that Casey wasn't a fit mother. There is no going back though.

So now what? They can't retry her and if they truly believe she is guilty they won't and can't go after anyone else. This just totally sucks. The only justice will be if someone does kill Casey. It's awful to say but it's true.

It's going to be interesting to hear what the jury has to say if any of them are interviewed.

I continue to be so stunned It is hard to believe that this happened. I really hope that this person who was wrongly acquitted comes to a bad end somehow.

She and OJ should get together and compare notes.

I guess just don't understand why they threw out all the murder charges. If they weren't comfortable with the death penalty charge, then go for 2nd degree. They had the option but they threw them all out.

I've been hoping someone would take OJ out for years!! Now we can add Casey to that. They never went after anyone else for murders of Ron and Nicole and they won't for Caylee. That is why I named this thread NO JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE because now the murderer walks on those charges and there will never be justice for the beautiful little girl.

If I were one of the jurors I would fear for my own life! Lots of hate going around this afternoon and evening!

One of the alternate jurors was interviewed by Vinnie Politano on HLN. I didn't see it but from what I gather the juror said he agreed 100% with the decision, said they couldn't prove how she died, he didn't believe there was a body in the trunk of Casey's car. He also didn't seem to like George Anthony much. He thought he was dishonest and too combative.

Badger, I heard the interview. It's on the FOX website. The man actually seemed really annoyed and angry about George Anthony.

When I talked to my sister this afternoon and she asked me if I had heard the verdict I said no. When she told me they let her off I was positively stunned. She said something about there really only being circumstantial evidence. There was nothing really concrete. I don't believe that for a second. That's just a load of crap. How they let Casey get off free I'll never understand. She should have been nailed to the floor. Unbelievable.

A lot of it really was circumstantial but her attitude and lying tied it all together for me. From what they're saying the jury didn't know a lot of what we found out through the media.

I also read that Scott Peterson was convicted on a lot less evidence than was in this case and he's sitting on death row. The sad reality might be is that it was in how the case was presented.

That is exactly the case, the prosecutors just like in the OJ case were outwitted by the defense team.

Yep ......... I'm watching Piers Morgan now and they showed the defence team in a bar toasting each other. I'm sorry but that is just wrong. If Casey was truly innocent there should be some outrage from them and from Casey herself and demanding that the real murderer be found. They know she's guilty so they're not demanding it. They're pathetic. Truly pathetic.
