Two of my favorite videos from the start of the tour. They are Stefano ones of course and I believe them to be his shining moments for the tour,(at least in my opinion).

Warning first video does have Pia in it so if you honestly can't take her at all do not click link, but if you want to see a really good performance give it a shot!

California King Bed: The duet is totally stunning and I will say that I feel this is Pia's best moment also. She is on stage a lot,(for the whole show), and this is the one moment I have liked best for her. I think she and Stefano have good chemistry and both play off each other to make each other better. I love how Stefano's voice just soars on this song. the two need to record this song. I would buy it in a second.

Grenade: Totally think this is the greatest song for him and he really sells it. Love that he plays the keyboard at the beginning and has it be so tender at first.

Stefano does well on the other stuff he does during the show but these to me are the ones that show how truly good he is.

I'm pretty sure I read that David's being played during the show too. I'm assuming it must be his new one.

Glad to hear that David is being played too. Looks like they are showing some good support to past Idols. Praise the lord for that!

Lauren, according to accounts, told the crowd she fell down the stairs backstage and twisted her ankle and had been crying for the past 20 min.

Joking even through the pain, Lauren said she was glad she fell backstage because otherwise America would see her fall down the stairs twice! (referring to the footage on Idol of her falling down a staircase in the Idol mansion, which the producers showed again and again.)

Trooper, Lauren still managed to meet fans after the show. She was wheeled out to the line, and back to the buses, but did get out of her chair to walk the line.

After the show, Lauren tweeted the photos above, “It hurts so bad!” she said, “Thanks everyone for the #getwellauren that’s so sweet(: love y’all.”

Ouch!

Aw poor Lauren! I don't know how more girls don't end up hurt wearing those stupid heel!

I was just reading a recap of one of the shows on MJ'sbigblogand the girl who wrote it said she thought the girls' heels were too high. I was never able to wear heels that often myself except for platforms when they were popular. I do remember wearing Cuban heels starting around the 5th grade on really special dress up occasions too. Most of the girls in my class did. But even then, navigating stairs was always supertricky. So I can feel for Lauren and Haley (when she fell during either top 4 or top 3 night).

Not only the Bo Bice or the tour but also the Diana Degarmo of the tour. Season 3 tour Diana fell down head first off the steps on the stage and she is lucky she didn't break her neck. She only had hurt her leg. I have always hated that they have the girls where the high heels for the show. This year I see Pia in these big stilletto heels singing with Stefano and climbing the stairs in them and then coming down. There is no handles on that little staircase; if you watch the video of the two you will see she and even Stefano take those things very slow while they are singing. The people who make the stage and stuff I honestly feel do not think about safety really. They just want to have their cheap set,(meaning Idol doesn't want to fork out money to pay for tour sets), and forget the safety of the performers.

Hope Lauren will be okay.

I guess her brother tweeted early that maybe her ankle is broken, I hope not.

Poor thing...First week of the tour and already her voice goes and now she might be in a cast for most of the tour and not able to funny enjoy doing the show, travel, etc.

I hope is just sprained, my best friend broke a bone in her ankle a couple a moths ago in a freaky accident at the hair dresser her foot got entangle with the chair while trying to stand up, they put a pin on her ankle and fitted her with a boot, no cast, she wore the boot for four weeks.

Lauren is very young so an sprained ankle will heal faster than a broken bone.

That she is in crushes.



She has a third-degree sprain but no break.

That is the good news, the bad news she can't put any pressure on that ankle.

Oh bummer for her....... She must be so disappointed that the tour has started off like this for her. Just can't really do those group numbers with crutches.

Sprains can take longer than broken bones. My sister severely sprained her ankle and it was months before she was able to function normally again. The doctor told her she would have been better to break it.`

Yes that is true, I was hoping it was just a plain sprain that ones don't take that much, but third degree usually comes with the tearing of the ligaments.

All I can say is OUCH. I feel so bad for her. I hope she takes take care of herself and nothing else happens. Poor thing has had lots of problems this first week of the tour. She sounds like she's taking it well though and just going with it. Huge thumbs up to her!

The girls should definitely not be wearing those huge heels up on stage. They might be nice to wear, but if you're constantly going up and down stairs of any kind that's just not good.

Heels might look good but they are they worst thing you can wear for your health. They mess up your back, for one thing, and things like what happened to Lauren, happen. I think they should banned from existence or at least should be made into wedges so there is more support.

Woman vanity is much bigger than any comfort for too many.

It seems that now the heels are higher than ever because they are making the shoes with about an inch on the sole.

Well, I can't wear heals higher than 3 inches or my feet are killing me!
