Haley is so pretty!!

Louis just got home from AC and enjoyed the tour. He did say that Haley is very sexy and everyone was good. Maybe I can get more out of him when he is rested. Oh, he said the seats were good.

Unhappy Scotty McCreery forced to pay beach fee before 'American Idol' concert

“American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery wasn't happy about getting tapped for the daily fee to hang out on Long Beach before his appearance at the “American Idol Live! Tour 2011” concert taking place at Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday, August 23 at 7 p.m.

From June 18-September 5, anyone 13 years of age and older must pay $12 to take in the sands and ocean past the Long Island boardwalk (between 9 a.m.-6 p.m.)

Although this is common practice, the winner of ‘Idol’s 10th season took umbrage and handled it in most modern fashion: he tweeted about it. Which subsequently got picked up by Taste of Country.

His first post on the matter stated: “chillin at Long Beach, Long Island and you have to pay to go on the beach? I ain't never heard of such.. #criminal” and was soon followed up with expanded criticism, tweeting “and the beach ain't even nice. tractors going over the sand, planes flying over head makin noise, n no waves. OuterBanks, NC > LongBeach”

“OuterBanks, NC” refers to the beaches of Outer Banks in North Carolina, where there is no usage fee (and also no parking charges).

An hour later, his apparent rage unabated, he added a third tweet:

“just think if they made Christopher Columbus pay to pull up at the beach.. what if he didn't have his wallet on him like me? smh..”

However, after checking the 17-year-old country singer and North Carolina native’s Twitter page, there were no more tweets on the subject, nor any mention of other issues with Long Island pricing -- including anything concerning the $60-a-ticket cost to see his “Idol Live” Coliseum show.

HA! That last paragraph! SNAP!

What? $12 to go to the beach? That's ridiculous. I don't blame Scotty for being miffed. I've never had to pay a cent to go to a beach except for maybe parking and snacks. $12????

That's just pathetic. What is so fabulous about a beach in Long Island anyhow? They'd have to pay me to go to it.

Chicago beaches are all free - but there are many beaches that charge a fee for various reasons. What can you do?

One thing you don't do is criticize the natives on tweeter, specially New Yorkers.

So true FY! Best when you are visiting a city to be gracious - especially when you are in a business where you need people to pay to see you!

To be fair, though, Scotty is young and I think it's pretty darn amazing that he hasn't tripped up before. This is so out of character for him. He must have been really pissed off!

If I ever go to Long Island I will know not to go there cause there is no way in Hell I would pay 12 dollars to go sit on the beach. I live in California and yes there is some parking fees at some of the beaches but the Beach part is free and that is total BS that someone has to pay. I feel his outrage and don't blame him for mentioning it. Maybe he shouldn't of said anything on Twitter but he was pissed and was venting.

Hey, it's New York! There's a fee for everything!! I grew up on Long Island and lived there until I was 19 years old! There was no charge to get on the beach when I lived there, but hey, times change! The beaches there are OK but usually very busy. In my opinion, they don't even come close to the beaches here in NC! I'm with Scotty...but he probably should've kept it to himself until he left NY!! He's young, but he's learnin'!

I agree if it is just to go sit at the beach then yeah I would try to find the free entrance.

That had to be tough..... sick kids.....so emotional.

Apparently they're really rushing the show in Rhode Island tonight and Paul isn't performing.

They postponed the Albany show tomorrow night so I'm surprised they didn't do the same tonight since Rhode Island is more in line with the storm than Albany is.

Is Paul sick? Did he get bumped to save a couple mins
