HAPPY NEW YEAR'S DAY ALL!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC!!! 22! Time flies....

Rob and I ended up staying up until 1:30! Eric was here with friends so I made some little snacks and we had snacks and wine at midnight and watched the fireworks from downtown Chicago. And sang happy birthday to Eric.

Justin was at a party at a friend's house. I still have not seen him this year! He came home after we went to bed. He has to work today though.

Having just a few people over for pizza and birthday cake later today. Then Eric has plans with friends after that.

Very gloomy and cold today. Good luck to the Badgers and all the Illinois teams in the bowls!

Wow FC, you and Rob are such party animals!! Totally tongue in cheek since I was in bed about 12:05

HA!! Canear, that is the lastest we have stayed up on NYE in YEARS!!! We usually are goners by about 12:15! I do like to stay up to wish Eric Happy Birthday at midnight if he is here. When at friends I call his cell to say Happy Birthday at about 12:10 or so. I was happy this year to have him home at midnight! That was a nice surprise.

I'm always up past midnight anyway, so last night wasn't unusual for me. A neighbor across the street gave us a fireworks display! One like I'd not seen before!

One of our neighbors shoots off fireworks too. He lives on the other side of the lake. He does a great display on the 4th of July. We heard it last night but we didn't go to the window to watch since we were nibbling and chatting by the big TV at the other end of the house. Glad you got a good show!

It is still the first!!!!!! I will not tell you how late I slept today. But I did remember that it is Eric's birthday
