That is the thing. He wouldn't take voice lessons or even follow the proper way to warm up. Remember Kelly warming up each night in the ladies room prior to going on stage and she couldn't believe Clay would NEVER warm-up or take voice lessons. I can see him being the same way with acting. Thinking he can just do it because he has been on stage and thinking he can get parts because he is already famous.

He does have an advantage that others starting out do not have, since he has connections in the business. But he has to do his part, too. He won't get many jobs just because he used to be Clay Aiken.

I just saw the clip from last night, well I am lost for words and I better take the fifth.

Just watched the season finale of DDD and it was sooooo good!!

Do you think Stacey told Greyson the whole truth about Jane???

Regarding what Stacey told Grayson, I agree that's the cliffhanger. Did she tell him the entire truth that Jane is Deb or did she tell him Jane is much more like Deb as a person than Stacey is? I doubt if we heard that whole conversation.

I like the judge too. I cheered when he was the one on the plane.

Also, wasn't that plotline with the guy on Death Row trying to give his sister his heart similar to the plotline of "Seven Pounds?"

Yeah, I actually have a feeling it will turn out she changed her mind and ended up saying Jane was most like Deb. But who knows.....

I don't really think that plot line is that much like Seven Pounds. I could see any person on death row about to be executed wanting his organs to go to save somebody - especially a relative. In Seven Pounds Will's character sets out to kill himself for an accident he was responsible.

Yay! I'm interested in whether or not Fred is back since Ben Feldman is now on "Mad Men." I guess it depends on the schedule for both shows.

I am not watching Mad Men. Too many things have been on on Sunday at that time for me. It was better for me when Mad Men came on later into the summer.

Does he have a big part on Mad Men?

Did you see when they brought him on the show? I'm not sure if that was the 2 part premiere episode or the one after. Anyway, he plays Michael Ginsberg, the new copywriter.

This is basically an ensemble show so it really depends on the episode how much time any character gets. He's been in most of the shows though.

I saw his first episode. That is it.

I just read that he will be on tonight and later in the season. Jane is going to have a new and sexier more mature angel.

I wonder if Fred is being written out of the show or if he'll be making sporadic visits.

Maybe the next show he's on is his "farewell" show.

Well, sad to see Fred gone (and forgotten by Stacy) but either the actor is busy with other projects or they wanted to take things in another direction.

I like the new Angel. I think he will be fun!

I love that Grayson is adding up the clues! Can't wait for him to figure it all out and see what happens from there.

I just read a TVLINE interview and according to Marc (?) Berman, Ben Feldman filmed "Mad Men" before "Drop Dead Diva." So I guess he could still come back for occasional episodes. Apparently, he is due to be back for at least one more.

FC, I've been reading some interesting speculation about Luke the new guardian angel. Some people think (I'm spoilering this even though now it's strictly speculation and not fact) Luke

Hmmmm, interesting. That could be why he messed things up with Grayson at the restaurant. Plus Jane just doesn't like him which could be some kind of instinct kicking in.

I think she doesn't like him because he wants her to move on as Jane which means giving up Grayson.

Fred also wanted her to move on as Jane but he was more of a pesky kid brother so she probably didn't take him as seriously.

Patty Duke is going to be on next week.

Last night was both delightful and heartbreaking!

I love Jane and Owen together! Their engagement and the carriage ride was just enchanting and Jane so deserves it!

Feel sad for Grayson and of course want them together when all is said and done. So hard to know what to wish for.

I do believe there is something up with Luke. There is a reason he wants to keep Jane and Grayson apart.

I think there are 13 episodes per season so I'm guessing there are 7-9 left. Lex Medlin (the guy who plays Owen) tweeted last night that they just finished taping the final episode of the season.

My guess is that we will find out what's going on with Luke when Fred comes back. I'm not sure if he'll be back for good, but apparently Ben Feldman taped his "Mad Men" episodes before "Drop Dead Diva" started filming so it is possible he could be in both shows.

Oh you know that storyline about the girl who was being forced to marry a prince? There really is a country called Bhutan (it's a tiny country near India) but the king is only about 31 and the queen is about 22.

It sounds like something will be going on with Owen in the next episode. I love him and Jane together.

I don't think so. My guess is that Owen is married but that he and his wife separated very soon after the marriage and haven't seen each other in years. His trip is to finally end things once and for all, but he doesn't want Jane to know.
