| She sure is! She's something else! Federer won yet again and Nadal plays tomorrow evening. Looks like we could be headed for another Federer/Nadal showdown in the Final. I think that's as it should be! Rafa is about the only one who could stand a chance of defeating Federer. |

Do not count out Murry. The guy is a determined man since he came so close last year. He has been winning a lot this summer and has the taste of finals victory so yeah he is dangerous and Feder and Nadal both know it. He is scares them both.
i am bummed that Rodick and Blake are out and now Isner is out now to the americans are falling like flys now. all we have left in there I think is Serena and that cool blond teen with the last name that starts with an O. i am backing her for sure i like her game and attitude.
My favorite part of the whole US Open So far was the first day when Andre Agassi and Doug Flutie got honored for their charity work. They are two of my favorite athletes in the world and of course Andre is my top tennis player active or retired. Just love them and so wonderful they got honored for all they have done to for their charities/foundation. bravo to Damion Robinson and Mia Hamm also who also were honored.

Oh yeah, Murray. I always forget about him! He's Roger's problem, though, since Andy is in Federer's part of the draw. I still want a Rafa/Roger final, with Rafa winning. 5 years in a row is long enough for Roger to have won it.
I saw part of the night when Andre was there and he went up into the booth with John McEnroe to do some commentary. It was so cool. |

| Okay as of today. Feder will be playing DelPotro in the mans final. I am hoping for DelPotro to win. Feder has won enough. Kim Clisters and Caraline Wozniacky are playing for the title. Caraline if up a break. 3-2 David Archuleta got to sing America the Beautiful to open up the womens final and he was amazing. ***** So how are you guys feeling about the serena incident. I totally think she was wrong. I do not think she said kill you since her older sister was murdered i just don't see her saying that. I do think her temper is way over the top and boils over to many times. She can be passionate but her passion comes out as raging anger when she is mad. She should of never been shaking her racket at the lines woman and shouldn't of said shove the ball in her mouth. She has been fined a lot and there has been an investigation opened if they see what she did was worse she may be suspended from tennis. I don't like Serena for many reasons and this part of her is one of them. I truly believe Serena needs anger management. Shannon |

| I'm with you about Federer, Angel. While I do believe he is a phenomenal tennis player, the game looses interest for me when the same person wins over and over again. I was really hoping that Rafa would make it to the final but with his abdominal injury, it just wasn't to be. Serena seriously crossed a line last night. Poor Kim just standing there not knowing what to do. The USTA looks pretty stupid for only fining Serena $10,000 considering the millions she has. Mary Carillo certainly was appalled by that. There is apparently another hearing by the Grand Slam tennis committee. They need to make an example of Serena. Just because she is a top player in the game doesn't mean she should gain preferential treatment. I hope they suspend her for the next grand slam or two. |

She is also being fined 5000 dollars for racket abuse. When they start the investigation she could be suspended from tennis and will be fined a huge amount if she is suspended.
I agree Serena needs to made an example of! Also as i said above in my post she needs anger management so badly.
