My Dodgers lost last night. Boo. I don't know what happened. I guess Philly is just too tough of a team. Damn Philly!!!! That's the second year in a row they beat my Dodgers at this stage in the season. Ugh!!! That's okay we'll come back fighting next year. There's still a chance the Angels will make it happen for LA. They somehow pulled it out tonight against the Yankees making it 3-2. They got a long way still to go though. It's going to be a tough road ahead especially with the next two games in NY. I hope they can do it. I pray they can do it.

I got home just in time to see the end of the Angels game! Wow that was dramatic! If anyone can come back to win it, it's the Angels. They have their own Angel up above cheering them on. I think they have added incentive to win it for Nick Adenhart. |

Sorry about your Dogers Teddy. But I am sure my FIL is celebrating in Heaven! He was born near Philly. The Angels for sure have somebody up above rooting for them! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag.

Yep, I think you're right about that canear. They've come back so many times when people began to count them out. They can do it again. They can do it this time. Gotta just keep praying for them. Let the Angel come through for them up above!

Aw teddy, I'm so sorry the Angels didn't win tonight. I so wanted them to pull it out. There are few sports teams I dislike as much as the Yankees. There is just an arrogance about them that I can't stand. On that note GO PHILLIES!!!

Thanks canear. Yeah I was pretty depressed last night. They got so close though. It was a really tight game the whole way through. The early 3 run they gave away to the Yankees cost them. Had it not been for that and how "on" the Yankees were with their pitching they could have had it or at least gone overtime. Le sigh. Both my home teams got beat out. So sad. As much as I don't like Philly for screwing my beloved Dodgers two years in a row I'd rather they won over the Yanks. Anyone but them just cause they've had enough wins.

I am there with ya on the sad factor; especially with the Dodgers. They are my all time favorite team.

Woohoo Lakers beat the Clippers 99-92. Clippers played hard and made the Lakers work and that is fine by me. As long as my team pulls out the W is what I care about. ETA: so glad to get back on the board. The board has been down for at least and hour to two hours now It is back up and I am happy! Shannon

So the Yankees won their 27th World Series tonight. Congrats to them. It's amazing how much success they've had.

I'm with FC, spread the wealth! They should win every year with the millions upon millions George Steinbrenner pays these guys to pitch and swing a bat. They could feed a small country for years on one salary alone!
I guess I shouldn't just pick on the Yankees......all professional sports salaries are ridiculous!! |

Yes, the salaries are more than ridiculous!! Look what the paid Beckham and he didn't do squat for the team! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag.
