HEE! I love that song!!!! I went to see Jefferson Airplane when I was in my early teens and that is how their concert was!! They had all those images on screens behind them and crazy lights!! We had great seats too!! Good lord Gracie Slick was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched "Wall.E" on DVD last night...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW sooooooooo sweet!!! And ahem....I think I have proved my point about not wanting to "kill" the carbon monoxide detector as posted in a different thread (I owe you one Aerwin Wink

Of course I didn't cry at all at it *cough*, & a pet cockroach looks quite appealing now! (ok...maybe not)

Ummmmmmmmm - well I wouldn't have one as a pet...but no - I wouldn't kill one.
I won't intentionally kill any living creature if I have a choice. Sounds naive, I know, but that's Drifty for you! (oh & I wasn't always like that...I used to swat wasps & flies,kill spiders etc, I just can't do it now!)

I have been known to let some spiders live in my house only because they are good at killing/eating other bugs!! Twisted Evil

Bugs have families too!!!!

Picture this...

It was a cold Xmas morning & Mom Bug got up early to get the baby bugs special yuleday breakfast ready.Dad Bug had finished decorating the bug house with some chocolate wrappers & a few twigs he managed to paint in different colours over the year (dragging it from fence to fence as the "humans" competed in 'Best Garden Competion' over the summer)
"Oh no" said Mom Bug in a sad dejected way - Dad bug rushed to the kitchen & sees Mom Bug looking into the empty Bread Bin (well it's an acorn shell...but you get what I mean)
Not wanting to have the day spoilt - Dad Bug puts on his jacket (SEEEEE - you all thought that bug shells were exoskeletons...ha but no! they have a whole wardrobe!)

Dad Bug rushes out of the bug house just as little Barney Bug crawled out of bed
"DAD...where you going.....?".... " Be back soon son - help your mother"
Barney saw his mother rushing about so decided to help his dad...& followed him out the door........................................

Dad bug reached a "human house" belonging to someone called FC...remembered past moment where he escaped by the skin of his teeth...so run around the side & moved onto the next "human house".
Little Barney Bug saw a glimpse of his dad & scampered across the road but assumed he had gone into FC's house, so entered it quietly & slowly............

There was one less for Xmas dinner that year in Mr & Mrs Bug's home...
Barry, Bonnie, Bert, Billy, Brenda, Ben, Beryl, Beth, Bobby, Bjorn, Brad, Brian, Bridget, Brittany, Brooke & Bud ......but one empty place setting.......
