We saw Tropic Thunder today . It is gut busting hysterical. RDJ STEALS the movie . And Ben Stiller is pretty damn funny too. My son and nephew loved it.

Horselaydee, I had to delete the post. No matter what I did that link would not convert. I have no idea why. It is easy to make the pretty links and I do it all the time, but that one was huge and I just couldn't get it to work.

ETA: OK, I think I figured out the problem - it is not a correct link. Nothing comes up but error.

I will look up info on the subject and bring it here!

OK here is the deal - Horselaydee brought some info on Tim Burton working on his version of "Alice In Wonderland"! There was a problem with the link she brought. I had to delete the post as the link was huge and making the page scroll on for about 10 feet Laughing So I am bringing over what info I can find.

I have been reading the Tristan and Isolde books so I decided to watch the movie. It was pretty good. But they changed the powerful Queen from the legend and the books into a king. Apparently men were in charge of that production. Guess who played Isolde though? Sophia Myles ! Beth from Moonlight! she was very good.

I cannot believe they changed the Queen to a King! Evil or Very Mad

We were discussing Rufus Sewell in the tv thread and I love him he is a terrific actor with a gorgeous voice. But anyway one of my fav movies of his is Dark City.

Synopsis from Netflix:

John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) awakens in a hotel room to find he's wanted for a series of murders he doesn't remember committing. Murdoch encounters the Strangers, a group of ominous beings with a collective memory who can stop time and alter physical reality. He begins to piece together his memories -- childhood, love for his wife (Jennifer Connelly) and the key to the murders -- all the while trying to avoid the underworld of the Strangers.

It is a Really good movie! I love sci - fi movies. Also he plays King Mark in Tristan and Isolde. He looks terrific in that !

I went to see The Coens new movie Burn After Reading. It is freakin' hilarous. I cannot stand Brad Pitt , but he is soooo funny in this. George Clooney plays an idiot. He is hysterical, I mean gut busting so. Tilda Swinton is really good too. I love her and George together.

I think it looks really funny and I am surprised at all the bad reviews for it. I think the trailer alone is super good stuff! To me it looks like Pitt may be better at comedy than drama! Clooney is naturally witty and funny.
