I never have or do wear a lot of jewelry, but I always used to have my ankle bracelet (oh & I always used to have 1 dangly earing - & the rest were studs or hoops )

Yes, I did spend a lot on the Swarovski Crystals and all the hooks and that, but you can find good deals on eBay for the beads and I made all of that for a TON cheaper than if I bought it all made.

What is really cool is when you buy an outfit you can go buy beads that match the outfit you bought and create jewelry sets that go perfect with your outfit!

I just love doing it. I have now made some pieces as gifts and I have now started making cellphone charms and bookmarks!

So cell phone charms and bookmarks now huh? Wow. You're getting up there!

Well, I thought the cell phone charms and bookmarks would be nice to put on presents at Xmas time along with the bows - or put on the envelopes of gift cards!

Hey FC let me see your cell phone charms. You know what druves mr crazy about making the jewelry ? Tying the knot off at the end! If you have any good tips about that let me know.

Next week I will take some pix. I have only made a couple of cell phone charms. I made one for myself.

At this point I don't do the stretchy elastic (though I just bought some the other day because I want to make toe rings) so my cell phone charms are crystals on the straight pin wire like for the earrings. Than I hook those onto the cellphone straps that I got in a bag at the Hobby shop.

I will be doing the same with the bookmarks which I just ordered from Oriental Trading. So I will be hanging the crystals on the bookmarks.

So I don't know how to tell you at this point how to do the knots. After I learn how to use the elastic for the toe rings (which I think are going to be tricky because they are so small) I will let you know how to make knots.

At this point all I have used is the wire and the crimp beads and that is easy as can be!!

I bought some beautiful crystal toe rings from a jewelry maker on eBay specifically to study them and learn to make them myself
