| I guess you never saw "The Lion King" then. The two friends of Simba were a meerkat and a warthog. |

| Hi Badger, I've seen "The Lion King," but not before coming across the word while reading at the CH 4 or 5 years ago, or whenever that messageboard started. I had to look up the word to find out what they were calling themselves. I used to really enjoy reading that MB. During the first couple of years, there were some very creative and talented storytellers who posted at the CH and I enjoyed reading their skits, fake blogs and snarky stories. Those humorous posts were wonderful breaks from the "drama." |

| I have never watched The Lion King There is still fun stuff at The CH. Pink still writes her funny Climmels. What I hate are the few ladies who go into the AI threads and compare every male contestant to Clay or against Clay etc. All the "Idol Found Game Over" stuff. Love Clay, but that doesn't stop me from loving others too! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| I agree about the constant comparisons to Clay by some posters. There are a lot of good singers and musicians to enjoy and it's fun to see these young new artists grow, improve and venture out into new territory. |

| Yes! I love finding new talent! Like Eli from America's got talent! He is awesome! Love David Cook! Really love Daughtry's CD. So many good artists and different music. I can't say "Idol found, game over" because I don't know who else is out there to bring awesome music into my life! Now, does anyone know how the gals at The Clack House became Meerkats? I really need to learn more about Meerkats! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| In the pictures, it looks like they're fairly good-sized but in reality they're really tiny. |

| Wow, I cannot believe today is the 10th anniversary of Columbine What a horrible day. I remember it so well. My boys were 8 and 10. I watched in horror trying to imagine what those poor kids and the parents were going through. The teachers trying to help save and comfort the kids. Thoughts and prayers with all of them on this day. _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| UGH! I buy this all the time and have some in the fridge to make! | Quote: | FDA Warns Consumers Not to Eat Nestle Toll House Prepackaged, Refrigerated Cookie Dough Nestle Voluntarily Recalls all Varieties of Prepackaged, Refrigerated Toll House Cookie Dough
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are warning consumers not to eat any varieties of prepackaged Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough due to the risk of contamination with E. coli O157:H7 (a bacterium that causes food borne illness).
The FDA advises that if consumers have any prepackaged, refrigerated Nestle Toll House cookie dough products in their home that they throw them away. Cooking the dough is not recommended because consumers might get the bacteria on their hands and on other cooking surfaces.
Retailers, restaurateurs, and personnel at other food-service operations should not sell or serve any Nestle Toll House prepackaged, refrigerated cookie dough products subject to the recall.
Nestle USA, which manufactures and markets the Toll House cookie dough, is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation by the FDA and CDC. The warning is based on an ongoing epidemiological study conducted by the CDC and several state and local health departments. Since March 2009 there have been 66 reports of illness across 28 states. Twenty-five persons were hospitalized; 7 with a severe complication called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). No one has died.
E. coli O157:H7 causes abdominal cramping, vomiting and a diarrheal illness, often with bloody stools. Most healthy adults can recover completely within a week. Young children and the elderly are at highest risk for developing HUS, which can lead to serious kidney damage and even death.
Individuals who have recently eaten prepackaged, refrigerated Toll House cookie dough and have experienced any of these symptoms should contact their doctor or health care provider immediately. Any such illnesses should be reported to state or local health authorities. |
