I read this yesterday and I was just appalled that people would behave this way! Taking the hinges off the doors and knocking them down??!!! Savages is right! Horrible story! Horrible way for people to behave! I never go to these types of sales events and I never will! I wish they didn't even do things like this Mad I remember seeing on the news a video of some poor young man being slammed into a pole as crowds rushed in for the new iPhone Evil or Very Mad

If I say what I'd really like to say here - YOU'D HAVE TO BAN ME !!!!.

So I'll make do with this.
This is an absolutely disgusting and pathetic way for 'so called' adults to behave.
Just what kind of example is this to show our younger generations. No wonder
some kids behave the way do when they see this kind of thing from adults.

I would be horrified and mortified to think that a present I recieved from someone
had been 'fought over' and bought at the expense of someones life in this manner.

I have long disagreed with the way these sales are conducted and the way people
behave during them.

There are countries in other parts of the world where the people don't even have
a crust of bread to eat ! - and here we have this kind of greed and disgusting behaviour.

My heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to the poor family of this man - Christmas
won't be happening for them.

SHAME ON THOSE RESPONSIBLE ! Shocked Mad

Well, if I said what I really wanted to say I would have to ban myself!

I'll tell you something - if I'd been at that store - I WOULD have had
a go at those people. Mad

Would anyone mind if I copied this story to my forum and a couple of
others I go onto.

Maybe - just maybe - it will make folk stop and think before they act in this
disgusting manner.

OK - here we go with instructions. Very Happy

First of all - you need to have them saved in a folder on your computer.

I'm using FireFox - so this how it works for me:

1/ In your ACP locate the smilie section - and at the bottom click 'add new smilie'.

2/ A window will come up that has boxes in as shown below.
Where it says 'smilie image file' there's a little box and a 'browse' button -
click this - another window should then come up for you to locate the folder
with your smilies in.

Smilies Configuration
Smilie Code :
Smilie Emotion :
Category
Smilie Image File :

3/ Click on the smilie you want and then click 'open'.

4/ The code will then appear in the above shown box in the image file bit.

5/ You then need to put in the code and smilie name in the other 2 boxes and
if you have more than one category - choose the one you want the smilie to appear
in.

Then click save - you should find your smilie has been added. Very Happy

If you have any problems - get back to me and I'll see if I can help. Very Happy

I will work on this tomorrow. I think I know exactly what my problem was. I was trying to add them from the smilie sites and not my own picture folder. So I need to put the smiles in my own picture folder and go from there! Gotcha - I think Laughing

Thanks so much for typing that all up for me!

ETA: COOL! I just add a hugging smilie! It is the last one on the bottom!

I don't know if you are aware of the Shannon Matthews "kidnap" case in the US & the outcome of it (I know RC will have seen all of this on the news etc) The disgust I have for the guilty individuals - seeming to jump on the back of the missing girl Madeleine Macann's tragic disappearance - is unbelievable!!

This is a timeline of events (hope it works for you)

WOW! That is quite a case! Just terrible. I cannot understand how a mother can do that to her own child. It is beyond my comprehension Evil or Very Mad

I don't have children...but if I did...I know damned well that I could never ever do a thing like that!! (Jesus - look what Fang gets away with!!)

I know it is easy for me to say - but in the very first interview I saw on TV with Karen Matthews I didn't like her - it sounds awful to say...but I didn't!! In fact I discussed it with one of the women at work - I said there was something about her I didn't like & she agreed.. One very sick woman - & one child that HAS been rescued from God knows what!
