They do have MRI's for those at a higher risk of breast cancer. I don't find a mammorgram painful, more of a discomfort for a minute or two. I sure hope they can pinpoint what your problem is Aerwin without you having to give them more blood! I have no idea what scarsodosis is, but will look it up.

Have any of you seen this video? What a little girl will do to get a stuffed animal! It's unbelievable but I checked out one of these, it is very possible. Even worse is the Mother didn't keep an eye on where her child was!!

I find mammograms uncomfortable, not so much painful, but not pleasant that is for sure. I still prefer them to some other female procedures I have had to endure Rolling Eyes

Well, I sure hope they find an answer for you soon Aerwin. Must be awful not knowing. Like Eric not being able to sleep very well. Everyone is just scratching their heads. Now we are leaning toward anxiety.

My cousin sent me this email this morning. Good advise and scary stuff!

Quote:
Warning..!!!!

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we

drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it

off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received this email yesterday:

'WARNING FROM POLICE - BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE

--NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS'
(NOT A JOKE)

Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating. You walk across
the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside.

You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rearview mirror

to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of

the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump
out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing

your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers

appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow

you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is

still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your homeaddress, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive
away.

Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope

you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse

contains all kinds of; personal information and identification documents,

and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong
hands.

OMG Sky! I would have been freaking out if my kid ended up in that machine! Glad to see she got OK!

Yes, where the heck was mom when she crawled in there?? Those kids were way to little to be left unattended for even a minute!

This really is a sneaky way to go about
grabbing someones car. Suppose there's
a child in the car - would they still take it !

I guess the simplest way around this is to
check all your car windows 'before' you unlock
it and get in. It only takes a couple of seconds
to just walk to the back of your car and look.

I wonder if this is happening in the UK too ?
If it isn't - yet - I guess it will soon catch on
here.

FC, I took it to be that her Mother was the one the other child told where the little girl was and she didn't pay much attention and continued into the store!!! She then was called out again and told and then did something!

Yeah, I would have totally freaked out, but then my child would have been WITH me not running ahead.

Oh yes, I figured that was the mom the little boy told and she walked away. But still, like you said, the kids should not have been at the machine without mom. They could have been snatched. Of course we weren't there and can't see exactly where the mom was - so I know I shouldn't judge - but it just seemed like a dangerous situation all the way around.

This is one of the saddest and most horrible stories I have ever read. This is one very disturbed little boy. If I were the mom I would be beside myself.

This is disturbing. I cannot imagine a 7 yr. old doing this cruel act, but it happened. I would like to know why a 7 yr. old is out by himself, unsupervised. Did he live close to the zoo? Did his parents know where he was? He has some serious problems, but it also raises a lot of questions.

Yes, I wonder too how he got there. I assumed he snuck out of his or his caregivers house. But you know, when I was that age - where we grew up - kids that age went out to play with each other all the time without adults. I would walks blocks to a friend's house - by myself - and we would go play in the fields, empty lots, walks to different parks, all over the place! I would leave after breakfast and not come home to dinner. We all did that. Such a different world now. I've told my mom more than once since my kids have been born that I am horrified when I think of all the things us kids did back then with no adults around. I didn't even let my kids walk that far alone when they were 12 as I did at 6 and 7. When I was in 4th grade I used to walk to the other end of town to visit my cousins. It was about two miles. I crossed many busy streets. I would totally freak the heck out at the thought of my kids doing that in 4th grade! affraid But the moms didn't seem to ever worry back then. We slept with doors and windows open too. I lock the house up at night - at least the first floor windows.

Being an animal lover - I found that totally sickening!! I do despair at the way the world is going at times!! We have sooooooooooo much more technology, things to make "life" easier, we are far more aware of other's plights, more acceptant of others "lifestyles" - & yet a child to do something like that at the age of 7 beggers belief!
Like you FC , as a child I could wander off & play wherever I wanted to, as long as I was home at teatime - doors could be left unlocked (um..well not all the time - I lived in a pub from the age of 1 until I was 12) & as for cars...lol there were maybe 6 that passed through the village in a day Wink oh yes...& the one bus a week! I have to say though - as much as I wandered around the countryside - not in a million years would I consider harming anything or anyone!
It was really brought home to me a couple of years ago when a gang of children were hanging about some garages nearby- the same ones that had "allegedly" hit one of my neighbours cats with a piece of wood.I watched them for a while..then went out & said that they should move on as they didn't live here.I was greeted with something along the lines of "What you gonna f****** do?? Call the police?? Police don't do anything to boys my age" This lad was about 5!!!!!! No

Oh goodness! 5 with a potty mouth like that! Perhaps hitting animals. So very sad.

I love that you had to be home for "tea time"! That is so fancy!

I don't even know what that means? Embarassed "talk with a plum in your mouth"? Must be a British thing!

Posh - do you all love her over there? She seems rather snooty to me. She certainly does have great style though!
