Also love the quote of the day - Charlie Chaplin amazes me - his comedy I didn't enjoy as a kid - too slapstick for me - but as I became older I could see what a genius & also what a deep thinker he was.So sad that a really really true comedien has to have so many demons to make them funny, as we have seen over the years.

That is soooooo funny!!! Mind you more likely to be Fang's "mum" with the stupid bloody photocopier we have at work! Wink

Fang isn't as elegant as the cat on that vid...hehe believe me!!He has tripped over a 1 foot fence before now (half hearted attempt to jump it).....fallen in the bath at least 3 times because he was trying to get my toes & GOD...when he jumps off the bed upstairs...it sounds like I have a pet diplodocus!!!

But he does it as a statue!...He sits at the kitchen door to start with...then each time I look round at him...he is closer to me...but still in EXACTLY the same sitting position....this goes on until he is right next to me.If I don't get up then to give him food...he will then sit on the little stool next to my chair...still in the same sitting poition...then as a last resort...will sit on the arm of the sofa which is right next to my left elbow! It's like someone invisible is moving a statue of him closer & closer each time!

His boosters are due within the next month.......you can do the taking to the vet's etc (I'll pay the vet bills) He is TERRIBLE when it comes to this time of year <GULP> Seriously, I phone up to make the appointment...& the receptionist asks his name....so I tell her...then she is in hysterics for a few minutes followed by "Oh dear...it's that time again is it?" in a sympathetic voice.
The ruses I have tried to get him into his carrying thing are untrue!
Worst year...I really had a battle with him..managed to get his head into it..but he caught me badly across the palm of my hand with his back paw claw.Well he HATES being in the carrying thing...throws himself about in it, yowls like a maniac...so I quickly wrapped a load of kitchen paper round my hand....& off we went.
I walked in the surgery & Sally the receptionist said "You got him here ok then....ohhhhhhhhhhhh (spotting my hand)"
Fang was still doing his "I am the cat from hell" bit in the carrying thing...& I had blood seeping through the massive wad of kitchen roll round my hand.
A woman walked in...spoke to the receptionist...looked at me...& the blood running down my hand....looked at Fang (still doing Tasmanian Devil impression) ...walked over to his carrying thing...stuck her finger in saying "Awwwwwww...are you upset little man???"
Of course, he did nothing to her...but I was thinking..."ARE YOU MAD WOMAN?????"
