Anyone reading the Twilight series?

I am looking to start reading a good book. When Eric has his oral surgery I will be in the waiting room for about 3 hours. They have crappy magazines there So I was thinking about getting the book "Twilight" and start reading the series (since I love Vampires) but at Amazon I'm reading several bad reviews. I thought maybe somebody here could give me some suggestions.
